   Richard at PMC Pools was recommended to us after our pool motor got water in it from the Auckland floods and blew. He came the next day and was very helpful and knowledgeable. New pump was installed the day after. He also shock dosed the pool as it was a mess and it’s now crystal clear. His prices were very reasonable and I will be using him for all future pool issues. In fact we are going to get PMC to refurbish our pool in the near future.

   We had been using this company for almost a year and all was well until I recently discovered issues. Over the winter months the cover has remained on the pool and I took it on good faith that the team were doing what we have been paying for. With the warmer weather here,I removed the pool cover to find it filthy, cloudy, smelly and starting to get a green tinge. The pool was supposedly valeted only a week before I found it in this state. I tried in vain to use our dolphin pool cleaner to try and clean the pool a little before PMC could revisit. I emailed pictures and my concerns as well a request to rectify the issues. I have received absolutely no response. Water testing revealed the alkalinity of the pool was sky high along with high chlorine levels from the pellet feeder being left on high. With Christmas fast approaching and the need for a clean, healthy pool for use I had no choice but to cut all service with PMC and bring on another company.
