   Very disappointed. Long way to go to drop off your dog. Customer service very lacking. Didn't even check vaccination papers. Just took dog and see ya later. On pick up even worse. Who you here to pick up. Lady went and got dog and said ah nope (not having her back) no recall ,bad on lead. Had to play alone in small paddock. Blunt as. We have no problem with recall. But new place come on. 2 stars because she was fed and washed. Yeah we paid for that too.......

   Will never ever ever be going back. The booking in process was efficient and easy, as was the dropping off procedure. 50% payment, $350, was required upfront on booking in our dog (ie payment made in July for Xmas booking), then remainder ($370) was due two months prior (ie Oct for Dec booking). On dropping off our dog I said to the male staff member (husband?), we'll see you at 10am on the pick-up day (this is what our booking form said). He responded, ' "No, we close at 10am so you'll need to be here earlier than that". So we agreed 9.30am pick up on said day; this was all good and I was feeling really glad that I clarified, rather than drive in excess of half an hour to pick up our dog and them be closed. We then arrive to pick up our dog on the agreed day and new time of 9.30am. On proceeding up the drive we had to give way to another vehicle leaving the premises (presumably picking up their dog?). The gates were closed, however not locked. Another car had also arrived behind us for picking up their dog. As it was the first day that Allbreeds were open after the xmas/new year break, I thought perhaps they are only open for pick-ups (and not drop offs to ease the pressure of dogs coming & going), hence the reason the gates were closed and not locked. I therefore opened the gate and we (as well as the other waiting vehicle) proceeded through. It was at this point that the lady owner Helen started yelling and screaming like a two year old having a tantrum. She abused me at the top of her voice saying amongst other things "can't you see we are closed, get back in your car and wait until 10am when you're meant to be here ". This abuse carried on for some time while myself, my husband and the other client stood their aghast. This tirade only stopped with the appearance of the male handler (husband?), who told her to calm down, retrieved our dog and made a whimsical apology about it being a busy christmas. If this is how she handles pressure, frustration and anger towards customers, I would hate to see the treatment the dogs may receive behind the scenes. As a small business owner myself, I was dumbfounded by this situation as a whole and don't believe Helen should be in charge of any business. Never again, and would not recommend.

   We left our cat for 12 days durinv Christmas and New Year. This is our first time with Allbreeds. The reviews were mainly all dogs, but it was close to home. Allbreeds did not disappoint. Helen was very prompt replying to our questions via email. Helen was very welcoming and friendly and we knew when we dropped our cat, she will be in good hands. When we picked our cat again, she looked happy and and well cared for. Very happy and will definitely use Allbreeds again. Thanks Helen and team.

   Whole process was very easy. Allbreeds were prompt in getting back to us when we booked. Pick up and drop off couldn’t have been easier. Turned out our dog was a terror and not at all suitable for boarding but Helen was very clear about the reasons.

   All breeds was recommended by my partners workmate. This was our dogs first night in a kennel, the entire process was painless. I made a booking and heard back from Helen quickly. She asked for a vaccination certificate, and left clear instructions for dropping Allie off. It was a 5-10 minute drive out of Upper Hutt on an easy road. Helen walked down to greet us when we arrived. She was friendly, clearly great with dogs. I left a lot less anxious. A day later we picked up a very happy, very worn out dog. We are already booking our next trip away. Knowing Allie will be in good hands. We now also use the daycare service. She absolutely loves it there. I'd like to update this review to reiterate how great this place is. We had to take our dog out for 6 months while she recovered from surgery. When I got back in touch about Allie returning to daycare I mentioned being a little apprehensive since she had been away from other dogs for so long. Helen said they were happy to see how it went. I dropped her off. They explained that Allie would be in a separate area in the morning. And then introduced to the group she would fit best in the afternoon. I returned to pick up a happy, very tired dog, who is thrilled to be back at daycare.

   Our two labradors recently stayed for 12 days at Allbreeds and they had an enjoyable time. This is a well run kennel, and our dogs came home relaxed, happy and very clean. Highly recommended to all.

   Great service and so much care for your pets! The team at Allbreeds leave you certain that your canine pal is in great hands from the moment they recognise him/her as they get out of your boot! Helen makes it clear she has a superb memory for dogs and their needs, ensuring to check on progress with any behavioural issues, medication, and eating habits, all from memory! The grounds are perfect for ever dogs, and the exercise regime means that they’re having as much of a break as you are. Between made runs and exercise, I recommend adding in a good ways to the service - making pickup so worry free you’ll be grateful they took you best bud. Go here for excellent kennelling services, and be sure to book your Christmas break around April as Allbreeds is in high demand....for good reason!
