Went in on Boxing Day and the service was above and beyond, I was after an oil filter which was still on the pallet and the guy helping me was kind enough to dig it out, spending a lot of time retrieving it for me. Thank you!
Dear Repco Management, I am writing to formally complain about the behaviour of a staff member at your Repco New Lynn branch on 24 December 2025 between 5:00pm and 5:30pm. Unfortunately, I do not know the staff member’s name. I visited the store to purchase ignition coils for a Suzuki Swift (vehicle located at Glen Eden for repair). The staff member told me that because my account is with Repco Kelston, he would not supply parts on account and would only accept cash payment. I paid $218 cash for two coils. After checking, I found that the coils supplied were incorrect (for a Nissan Tiida). I returned to the store immediately to explain the issue. At that point, the same staff member stated that the correct coils would now cost $380 cash, and refused to acknowledge why a different price was not mentioned earlier. When I questioned the sudden price change, the staff member became rude, dismissive, and disrespectful, repeatedly insisting on cash payment only. His manner was unprofessional and unacceptable, and this is not the first time I have experienced this type of behaviour from him. I have been a regular Repco customer, but experiences like this are causing you to lose customers. This staff member does not know how to deal with customers professionally, and if this behaviour continues, it will damage Repco’s reputation. I request that this matter be investigated seriously and that appropriate action be taken. I would also appreciate clarification on Repco’s policy regarding account customers purchasing from different branches. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response. Get sent here from kelston, that said it was in stock at both stores, for the lever to not be present. Last time shopping at repco. Wouldn't waste my time just get it done right and go to supercheap auto. Tragic.
Completely ignored by staff. Waited a while and decided to no longer support this company after too many poor experiences.
It was a bit of a wait at the checkout with the only two checkout operators dealing with customers whose matters seem to be a bit complicated as both operators had to go the back of the store to check something. Understandable. No complaints.
Returned a faulty waterblaster, and recieved back after an investigation a waterblaster that had the pressure as advertised.
Staff at the New Lynn location are always super friendly and easy to deal with, especially Janitha he’s a legend.
The store is very well set up, clean and spacious. Exceptional customer service today!! Good vibes all around from the moment we walked in, the team were all so lovely, friendly and bubbly!! Definitely the best Repco store for customer service and everything else. So helpful as I am from Australia and wanted to buy me some souvenirs to take back home with me and I walked out with everything I needed and they even sold me on the extra souvenirs I didn’t even think of which I’ll be back to purchase before we leave. Thanks guys for the great experience.
