   I brought my car in because a nozzle had fallen off from the bottom. I showed the mechanics the nozzle and explained whereabouts it came from, and they told me that the radiator needed fixing and was in bad condition. I agreed to have it repaired. The next day, I picked up my car and parked it at home for two days because I thought I also needed to replace the battery. My partner and his dad later checked the car and confirmed the battery was fine. They didn’t inspect the radiator work because we trusted that it had been done properly. When I finally took the car out on the motorway, smoke started coming from the front, and a warning light flashed saying the engine was overheating. I was terrified, especially since it happened during peak traffic hours. My partner and his dad came again to check, and they found that the issue hadn’t been fixed properly at all. They said the nozzle or pipe wasn’t tightened correctly, and that the mechanics should have tested the car to ensure it wasn’t overheating before returning it to me. It’s honestly disappointing and frustrating — as a woman, it’s already hard enough to find a mechanic you can trust, and this experience has made me lose even more confidence. -although the receptionist and gentlemen are very kind just let down by the mechanics!!

   Had a great time at St Lukes AA service centre. Ashika lingam is a really great and nice person. Guiding me through all the issues for my car and really had a wonderful experience with her customer service! She is also very knowledgeable and know about cars a lot.    This would be the best AA I’ve been to. The team here are really thorough and professional, and the communication was fantastic. I had to get my rear brakes replaced which was all booked in and completed in a timely manner, not to mention reasonably priced. I’ll continue to use this centre moving forward. Thanks team!    Bitterly disappointed with the overall situation and outcome of our dealings with AA St Luke's. Yes asked for a service, WOF and quote of repairs, decided not to go ahead with the quote as it was uneconomical to proceed. But were misinformed as to what had or hadn't been completed of the servicing, then surprised as payment was needed for this. Not disputing costs were incurred by AA St Luke's and accept these, but not as mentioned above. THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY BELOW. Our initial and main reason for booking our car in was due to the drive belt noise, which was the highest quoted cost to repair and had it been communicated in a timely manner, we wouldn't have gone ahead then and there. (It looks like the sequence of work was changed to suit AA). The servicing and WOF were add ons, as stated above, the main reason was due to the noise. In Good Faith works both ways, not one way. We pride ourselves in acting In Good Faith, does AA.
