   In case you deal with international customers, outside of NZ, avoid using the broker for your business activities. I had an absolutely terrible experience with the broker, when at the time of reviewing my policy to reduce the scope from an international basis to a local policy. The broker kept trying to charge international fee levels even though I had requested the policy to be drastically reduced in scope. Not only that, but the broker kept ignoring requests for cancellation of the international policy done over and over. At the end of the day, they ended up charging several months for international fees, upon the excuse of being looking for a revised local coverage. I took the actions on my hands and within 30 minutes I had a new policy in place with a separate broker, despite waiting for months on a reasonable quote from ICIB. Worst experience I have had and it cost me dearly. Absolutely do not recommend this broker if you can avoid them for anything. They will charge you an arm and a leg. They were trying to push for a local policy 10x more expensive than their competitors (not 2x or 3x). While the experience was not the best, I do think you have good professionals within. Maybe I was not the luckiest one. Originally I dealt with Brindley through a personal indication. Brindley was always professional and timely. But the professional I dealt with in the later part of the relationship was not as timely and professional. Won't mention it here for their privacy. But I definitely don't recommend anyone to have the same (lack of) luck. Terrible experience.
