Avoid! Basic claim still not resolved. Over a year later. Would give thumbs down, not 1 star. Surprised such company is able to do business in NZ. If looking for an insurer, steer clear of Gallagher Bassett. If already stung by them, may need to explore legal options.

Beyond appalled at the level of service. It’s incompetence personified. 8 months of chasing up but you keep going around in circles. It’s about time that we ban companies like this in nz till they can meet basic operational requirements.
Called on behalf of our business to find out what has happened to our claim. No one to answer phone, just a request to leave our name and number and someone would call back. Six days later, no one has….
Terrible terrible terrible, almost 7 months now trying to sort insurance claim and they simply to refuse to respond to emails
They have been assigned my claim by AMI Insurance. So far they have been unresponsive to my attempt to contact them
Internal process is a mess. Avoid this company in your future insurance. One star is given to one good assessor from this company. But good employee may not stay long in a bad company, right?
Don't do it. Avoid this company like the plague. Have had nothing but stress and worry dealing with them. They never call back when they say they are going to. I have to continuously ring to get updates on our Auckland floods damaged house. They sent a contractor out to cut hunks from our walls and carpets which had got wet 10 weeks ago. No work has been done since. Hopeless.
