Be careful paying £18 a month car insurance they had to council insurance because underwriters went bust, said had my back put it up to £70 a month I think had my back I can think another word. Nice of them. Glad I'm not with them for breakdown, go RAC.

I have been with AA Insurance for more than 12 years. I have 6-7 insurance policies with them. Until couple of months back, I never had any issues. Of late, when all my insurance/s policies came up for renewal, I changed them to annual and a direct debit set up was instructed. I was asked to call every time when every insurance was up for renewal, which I did. I may have called them at least 6 to 7 times regarding this, and every time I used to reiterate if all my insurance/s policies have been properly set up. However, in the last couple of months, I found out that they did not deduct money for a couple of insurances, where one even lapsed. So I called and got them fixed. I was unhappy about this because God forbid if something had gone wrong, it could have been a disaster for me. So I wanted to talk to the manager, but I was told someone would call me soon. Finally, after a wait of 5 days, Mr Mikio, who claimed to be Customer Services Manager, called on 25th Nov. Unfortunately, right from the word go, rather than apologising, he was very defensive. I found that person full of attitude, and in my opinion, should be retrained. I will suggest that a senior person should listen to the recording of our conversation and decide or take appropriate measures to safeguard the goodwill of the company. I never had any issues all these years, but of late, I must say something has gone down, and things have gone haywire. Should this continue, I can bet AA will start losing customers. Lastly, upon mentioning Mr Mikio, that if this is his attitude, I will take my business somewhere else, he showed no remorse and said, 'Sorry to hear that'. Shocking!!!

The worst insurance experience of my life. 2 months from start to finish, my claim was misdirected from the start. Left on the side of the road for 5 hours, had to chase them up 3 times and I was in Auckland!!!! Then they denied my claim saying it was a breakdown!!!! despite being provided with other driver details and a police incident number. Even the AA breakdown service man was shocked and had my details changed to accident. Finally got towed home not to the repairer, had to make several calls to a unresponsive agent who was very dismissive (thanks Nice) and got nowhere until her supervisor became involved. Raised my premium, got a new insurer (State) at half the cost. Totally useless, avoid this company

They like taking your money every month but take months to get back to you when you have a claim, so have to keep following up every week. Suggest looking at other insurance companies and doing some research.

My car got stolen, police found the car, they told me it is not repairable. They paid me the money. When I try to get a similiar car, I realized that the money is not enough! With the inflation, the market value is rise, but at the AA, the value of my car is decreasing all the time. Stay away from this company, guys

One of the worst customer experiences you’ll face. Charged a premium for a plumber, we paid on the same day. A few days later, the the same issues comes back. I requested for a revisit, it is now 14 days and they still haven’t scheduled for someone to come! They stopped responding to emails about a week ago. Pathetic of a service, careless and no empathy, especially for something as important as this! We’ve started searching for alternatives.

My car was stolen on the 6th of may and my vehicle was recovered 3 days later. Took the accessor a week to access my vehicle which they came to the conclusion it was repairable. My car was sent to Mazda for repairs and was never mechanically looked over and returned to me making bad noises. I have 2 surface bold rear tires due to my car being driven at speed and the handbrake being pulled which was never picked up on by the assessor, or Mazda. This could indicate other significant damages to my car and I believe it is negligent to return the car to the customer like that. Every time I ring following up on this, over a month after the event, it’s a half an hour wait and I am told the same thing, “I will send this off to the accessor.” The customer service isnt great im sick of dealing with a different person every time . I have already paid my $500 excess and my car is not even repaired!!

This business has the worst customer service i have ever experienced. Call to make a claim after being in a vehicle accident, the phone was answered almost immediately only to be transferred and placed on hold and told continuously to apply online becuase there busy. Soo i did. Did not hear from AA insurance for 5 days until i receive a templated email. Reply to the email asking for more information only to receive another templated email. Soo i try calling to get more specific information. Once again get the run around of please hold and contact online. Finally get the answer i need and follow the instructions given in another email from AA insurance only for it to be entirely incorrect and not the process the repair company uses. Atrocious customer service, atrocious communication. Just another multimillion dollar corporate with no care for its customers.
