My first appointment with Louisa was excellent. I went in for a tidy up of my long neglected mop and came away feeling renewed and with plenty of inspiration for my next cut. Worst haircut I have ever had, ruined the style I already had, simply asked for a fringe cut, looks like I've had a bowl cut, the hairdresser talked too much and obviously want listening to what I said. Will never go back. Now have to grow my hair out to get it back to the style I had.
Always great friendly service. Easy access to car parking as location is on the main street of Island Bay. My hair always looks fantastic when I leave. I have been going here since last year as it was recommended to me. So glad I found great hairdressers with alot of years of experience. Would highly recommend them & have already booked my next appointment.

Disgusting abusive behavior by the woman in charge to her young assistant. I hope the young woman knows her self worth and leaves, noone should be treated in that way. I went in to buy my shampoo just now and was meet with the most uncomfortable sales experience I think I have ever had, she was patronizing and rude to her staff member, belittled her and acted in a way that was clearly to make her feel stupid or worthless. A grown woman should know better, an employer should certainly do better. So disappointing to see that kind of behavior, I will not be back. Shame on you Hairloom, be kind or get out of the people business!
