Paypal payment is the only confirmation that you are enrolled. No communication after that. No response to the query on error in dates. No response to number of phone calls. Received email on the day of the class that it's pushed out a week. The second week, got the email saying classes not happening anymore and got refunded.
Terrible and rude company. I booked in for a beginner class and 5 weeks after the supposed start date they said not enough people enrolled. On the first night, by luck i called to confirm the specific room at the venue and was told that it was postponed. They would have let me arrive without telling me there was no class. Communication after that was awful and I called, emailed and texted each week to find out if the class was going ahead. They only texted back after I gave up after the scheduled start time. Finally after three weeks they confirmed it would start 2 weeks later. Then on the day texted to say it was cancelled and I was refunded. Without bothering to call ir discuss further. When I insisted that someone be called to discuss they were rude and patronizing and made out that i was unreasonable. Terrible way to run a business and inconsiderate of their customers. Unfortunately there is no option for zero stars. 1 star feels too generous.
Tried on multiple occasions to make a booking after purchasing a casual class. After my emails went unanswered I called, and was assured that my emails would be attended to. Obviously that did not happen. I'll be seeking a refund, and am just grateful that I did not purchase the whole class.
The French teacher was excellent, but unfortunately, the management of the school left much to be desired. On several occasions, classes were either canceled or delayed without any prior notification. It was frustrating to arrive at the classroom, only to find out that the class had been canceled without any notice. To make matters worse, the final session of the class was canceled, and the management suggested that I attend the first session of the same level in the next term. This did not make sense to me, as it would be a waste of both time and money. When I requested to attend the first session of the next level instead, my request was denied, which was disappointing. Overall, due to poor management, I would not recommend this school to others. Despite having a great French teacher, the lack of organization and communication made it difficult to fully enjoy the learning experience.
Not sure how everyone get their class, but mine was canceled and no communication on reschedule, all call was unanswered, all email inquiry was not attended to. Potentially a scam, so be cautious before you pay for the class.
I found the organisation of my lessons shambolic, with poor attention to communication, which was stressful for me. Having said that, when my lessons finally started, the teacher was very good. I wasn't part of a class - I took private lessons. I think if you wanted to be part of a class you will find the organisation is better.
I have attended several courses at the French Institute in Auckland and I would strongly recommend this language school to anyone looking for high-quality learning at a reasonable price. Moreover, here I had an opportunity to meet the unique team of administrative and teaching staff who are always ready to answer any question that might arise, thereby providing their students with excellent service and creating a friendly atmosphere.
An excellent French school, the teachers and staff are amazing. Thoroughly recommend.
