Went to Dominion Road store today for running shoes. Attended to by Cam who knows his stuff and came away with a pair that well suits my needs. I always go to these guys as they are so knowledgeable and helpful. Got the shoes at a great price too.
First time heading into Smiths Sport Shoes and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A big thank you to Dhanya for all her help! Very knowledgeable and had great customer service. Definitely will be back to purchase another pair of shoes closer to race day!
Had a great experience buying running shoes for my son. Served by Portia who was very knowledgeable on advising the right shoe specifications for his videoed running style. She was very engaging and helpful.
I was sent to Smiths Shoes 10 years ago by my podiatrist and have remained loyal, even though they are well out of my way .My last purchase was a week ago and bought several pairs but even though given excellent service, I made the wrong decision on sizing. They knew better but I was stubborn. Robbie has bent over backwards to make sure I now have the right size. All the staff there, Joel, Cam and others are obviously dedicated to pleasing their customers.The free parking on a busy road is another plus. I would give them 10 stars if that existed, but 5 stars is well deserved.
Smith's sports shoes Mt Eden is my go to for local sports shoes with all of the top brands. I was after a walking shoe and because there was a sale on today walked out with a great deal. I was served by Robbie whois really knowledgeable about every type of shoe and brand. He listened, made me feel comfortable about my purchase and his customer service was incredible from his welcome to the ringing up of the sale. It's good to see a local brand still thriving for over 70 years. Highly recommended.
This shop is fantastic. I have been buying sneakers here for years, and my family shops here too. Today I saw Anthony (a podiatrist) for a free assessment at the shop. I was a bit skeptical that he may make me buy the most expensive shoes in the shop, but he was fantastic! He told me that my current shoes (purchased previously from Smiths Shoes) were great, and to keep wearing them. He also gave great advice and worked out a way to correct an ongoing issue with pain that I’ve had (from wearing narrow shoes at work), to make the shoes more comfortable for only $40! (He did not pressure me into it - just offered it as an option - but after 4 months of foot pain, it is a very easy and cheap fix!) Thanks for being such a great team! You are much more than just a shop

Be cautious buying from Smith's sport shoes in Tauranga area. Been trying to resolve an issue for months and I keep getting excuses and blame shifting. Don't know if all of the stores are bad but head office needs to know.
Staff are very helpful. They have good discounts. You can park at on the other side of dominion road. Worth having a look!
Brilliant service and choice, I always ask for Cam, he listens to my needs, I'm fitted and off I go. I was recommended by a foot specialist from the Super Clinic. Extremely happy. Want to do a update. Super service from Cam, so glad when he's there, makes Shopping easy and great. Fabulous prices for the latest gear.
