   Really disappointed with the service here. Charged an arm and a leg for a service but didn’t even fix the issue. Had to bring the car back twice, and every time I turn up in the morning there’s nowhere to park or drop it off due to road works - not my problem as a customer, if you can’t run your business like this then don’t be open. Dropped it off at the agreed time (9am) and by 5pm they still hadn’t even done the diagnosis. Communication is terrible, time management is poor, and the prices are way too high for what you actually get. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

   I had a very bad experience at Pit Stop Gray Lynn. I left my car with an Indian man, around 50 to 60 years old, who inspected it and gave me an extremely long list of issues. Since I have mechanical knowledge, I immediately noticed that many of the things he mentioned were unnecessary, clearly added just to inflate the price. He tried to charge me over $1,800 to fix a turn signal light and adjust the handbrake, among other basic checks. It was obvious they were trying to take advantage of my limited English, assuming I didn’t know anything about cars. This kind of dishonest service is unacceptable. I do not recommend this place at all.

   This was the worst service we ever experienced. We had a deal of how much to pay on the week before we went to Auckland to pick up our car and by the time the car was ready the amount to pay was more than the amount we agreed on. We had confirmation on the week before we went to Auckland that by the time we arrived there on the bus the car would be ready by 8 am but when we arrived at the pit stop after 8 am he said he was still waiting for some parts if we could wait until 10.30- 11 am, we waited and waited until the car was ready around 3pm. It was so frustrating but we had no option we had to pay more than what we agreed on and plus the following day was the Good Friday and we had to get our car out before the long weekend. I will never recommend this mechanic to my families and friends living in Auckland.

I will continue to go to Pit Stop Grey Lynn with all of my vehicles without a doubt. Great crew who done all they could to get my car fixed in time for me to go on my road trip the same day. I highly recommend Pit Stop Grey Lynn and will be recommending it to all my family and friends.

   A friend of mine referred me to Dhinesh and I could not be happier! Initially I just needed a window fixed but he and his team offered the most efficient and excellent service that 12 months on they are now my first point of call for all my car needs (which have been a few). They are incredibly welcoming and reliable and no matter what it is big or small always there to help. And most importantly my car and I feel very safe in their hands. Highly recommended.
