   ⚠️ Disappointing and unprofessional experience ⚠️ I came in due to an engine warning light and was given an initial quote, but the final price changed multiple times without clear agreement. During the repair process, damage was caused to the engine, which left us without the vehicle for several days. As tourists living out of the car, this caused significant inconvenience. When we collected the vehicle, we also discovered new damage to the front bumper that was not there before, including parts held together with a zip tie. A panel beater estimated the repair at around NZD 1,050, but only a partial refund was offered. Despite trying to resolve this respectfully, we received no response. I would advise caution, especially if you expect clear pricing and responsibility for damage.

   I've been here a few times now and have only great things to say. Josh is very thorough and informative, no matter what you've booked in will only charge for what they have completed. Cars are running fantastic, very friendly to deal with and you won't leave with a massive bill filled with extras you haven't asked for, couldn't recommend enough

   I got to post my lovely experience here, such an awesome service from the reception to the trustworthy mechanics! Such a transparency at Midas in GreyLynn, only charges you for what you need, does not scam like other automotive places. Mechanic Tim & Josh were very informative, welcoming and honest. My car needed a bit of work and they went an extra mile to keep the price down and repaired only the needful. They did a thorough inspection and keep me updated for further recommendations and findings.    I have been coming here for three years and James, Neil and the team always take great care of my car. They are very knowledgeable and experienced and explain everything that comes up during the service and/or WOF in detail so there’s never any unanswered questions. They also understand that you don’t always have the money to fix things right away and never press you to spend more money than you need to at the time. Will continue to come here as long as these guys are here! :)

   I’m a female and it is THE WORST! Went in for an overall service and fluid top up. First of all they decided to not do the service I asked for and did a cheaper one without my consent before hand and since seeing them have had to tow my freaking car atleast 6 times. And it goes into limp mode. Obviously they ain’t professionals they just want YOUR MONEY! Best believe I’m coming back to get my whole car fixed once I can tow it to you losers!
