   I have recently received 3 months of follow up nursing care from Health Care New Lynn after having minor surgery in September. I cannot praise the team of nurses highly enough. They have been exceptional in their care and handling of my 2 and sometimes 3 per visits per week. The nurses were caring,careful and vigilant in the changes of the dressing.    I have been going to this surgery for 5 years now, service is always really good. Doctors, nurses and reception staff are all very professional and helpful. Yesterday we were there for child immunisations and they also managed to arrange for us to see the doctor while we were there for medical clearance which saved me having to go back on a different day which with two young kids was very much appreciated.

   The most positive experience I've ever had at a GP. Our regular GP was closed and my daughter had a sore ear and I thought she had put something inside it. I brought her in on a Saturday morning and the front desk receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful and managed to get us seen. The doctor was amazing - kind and gentle with my daughter who is disabled and non verbal. My experience was so positive that I decided to enroll both of my children to the centre as I found them 1 million times better than our usual GP.

   I have never been treated with such disrespect and condescension in my life as I have by the reception staff at Health New Lynn this morning. They were so quick to become reactive, defensive and abrasive in response to a simple query (could you tell me how long the wait is). This ugly behaviour was directed at myself and my mother as well to the point where we were both in tears. And all over the treatment of my 6 month old baby who had ingested a wooden foreign body. Shame on you for causing such an unnecessarily stressful situation and for speaking to people with such aggression and disrespect in the face of a potentially urgent medical situation. We will be requesting a meeting with the practice manager to discuss the situation and individuals involved and of course be moving our son out of your care. Doctor was lovely, sorry to him for having to deal with a very stressed and traumatised mother and grandmother.

   Never heard of a medical centre that doesnt take patients. receptionist lady (sounded very old most likely white) was rude and interrupting, cut the call short and hung up on me very quickly all for asking how much an appointment is and if i can make one. Shes probably rude because shes underpayed for being a dumb receptionist at a place that doesnt even want to help people and give the services they should be entitled to at a Medical Centre. Im shocked. Not that my dad had good experiences here either, just trying to find somewhere reliable to book an appointment.

   Just enrolled here two days ago online and both receptionists I spoke to were helpful and polite. I took my son to the out of hours last night and we were greeted by a lovely man at reception and the nursing staff and doctors were thorough and polite. Very happy with the move so far.

   When are you making it possible to book online again to see a doctor and not just talk to them on the phone ? I don't have time off work too wait over the phone to make a booking to see a doctor. I tried many times today as my baby boy needs to see our GP and your admin is useless ! Also, how come I'm getting the machine saying I'm calling "after yours" it's 3:24pm, don't you close at 7pm ?Hire some more people for the reception, you charge $45 for a 15 minutes visit, I'm sure you can afford it.
