Top notch! Coming from Miami Beach , this bistro hit the spot. We had 4 dishes including the fish of the day and none of them disappointed. It was perfect food and perfect peering with the couple cups of wine we had. We had second thought about going off the water front to this place but once we say and tasted the food we knew we made the right decision. Hats off to the cooks and the friendly wait staff. If you get a chance pass up all the water front restaurants and go here, it’s nice a quiet off the beaten path. You’ll be delighted.

Lovely cafe and great warm sunny spot especially in Wynard Quarter which can be very windy and cold. Had croque monsieur with smashed potatos and eggs benedict. Both were so delicious Caramel latte was perfect also

Absolutely enjoyed our breakfast here! The granola was absolutely delicious, it was nicely presented and the fruit was nice and fresh. I would definitely recommend coming here for breakfast and to top things off you can get a 50% discount using the First Table app.

I had the market fish with risotto, but unfortunately, it was soaked in a 1cm layer of olive oil, which completely ruined the experience. The only flavor I could taste in the risotto was the olive oil—even though there were supposed to be tomatoes, I couldn't taste them at all due to the overwhelming amount of oil. The ingredients themselves were good, and the dish could have been fantastic if the chef had shown a bit more awareness of how much of each ingredient to use. Also, when I entered the restaurant, I was misled by being informed only about the two lunch dishes, which turned out to be more expensive than the weekly lunch deal I wasn’t told was also available.

Nice meal and place. Great waitress. Star off for food because the trevally omelette could have done with more trevally! The other meals looked great though and their great toast looks delicious. Star off for service because the food wait time was noticeably long. We enjoyed the Chat time but if we had been in a hurry we would have probably got annoyed.

May 2023: The place has a nice vibe. But the ☕️ was burned and bitter. It took them quite a while to microwave a scone, and they manage to create a queue on any occasion. It is very nice to sit and enjoy drinks there. We were lucky enough to get just a few minutes before the happy hour was over and get a discount. Yeay! The interaction with the waiter was not smooth thought: once I've started asking about the wines, they instantly told me that it was not part of the deal. I also was not a fan that they greeted as with "gents". And it turns out that the beer that I ordered was a bottle and not tap - why wouldn't you write that explicitly?

Popped in this morning for a quick takeaway coffee, well worth the visit. Wander is a little out of the way from the main walking traffic, but is well worth the visit. This place was pretty busy with people grabbing a Saturday morning breakfast. We grabbed takeaway coffee and a pastry (daughter rated the pastry). Would certainly come back again.

My French colleague recommended this place for good French food and she was right, absolutely delicious! I had the special - venison with mash and veggies and there was lots of sauce to soak everything plus the venison was cooked well and super soft. Will definitely be back, lovely atmosphere and great for lunch!

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday and had a mixed, but mostly positive experience. Their smashed avo on multigrain toast was certainly a stunner, with a huge portion of well seasoned avo, loaded on a thick slice of perfectly toasted multigrain bread. The sides we added (streaky bacon and mushrooms) were also beautifully cooked. The Buddha bowl however was slightly underwhelming - the separate parts were great but as a whole the flavours clashed. We got their pineapple cake as takeaway and to our dismay it had a very overpowering bitterness and dryness distinct of too much baking powder - and hopefully it was just a mishap. Service is inconsistent but only due to fragmented communication between the staff at times (it was quite busy on a Sunday morning!), otherwise they were friendly and attentive.
