   Guy named Greg who works there is absolutely terrible with his service and communication. Not only over charged my mother for the kind of work and services that should've been done without a reminder and checking beforehand to see what needs to be done and happen, ended up double charging for nothing and not refunding what was owed but instead kept up with communication to be able to continue charging after weeks of requests to return and withdrawal from his services (we no longer wish to do business with them anymore) still double charged us. If I can rate as 0 stars, I would. You guys need better people who do everything by the book, for instance, money from my stepfathers kiwisaver should've gone to my mother as she was the executive of his will, he took it instead of putting it in her account, took his cut, and still charged my mother, refusing to release the documents for us to go else where so they can be able to charge for the communication etc, how many times do we have to ask to return the stuff so we can go else where and give us the full amount of money from his kiwisaver, not really legal law firm here, waste your time and money dealing with him. I'm sure other staff members are good, but Greg, only thing he's good for by the sounds of it is wasting time and taking money. Me and my partner was considering bringing our business here but after hearing from my mother, will most definitely not until Greg has gotten his A into G and sorted out the problems that has arisen and sorted out the needs of his clients (unfortunately, my mother and stepfather files was given to him after the person they were dealing with before left that firm) etc, I will take my business else where, (will take my will and other business that need legal advise etc else where). Now he is saying the house that my mother and stepfather has owned since 2018 and paid off in 2022 still has a mortgage? Now if this is the kind of service he provides, I would be very concerned and worried as he doesn't do his work and gather information properly. Very unprofessional and absolutely useless lawyer, highly suggest going elsewhere as he is still trying to charge my mother money for service that he already double charged amd did not refund the money that was requested back. (Possibly trying to keep communication going so he can make up the over charge and not returning the intrest from the kiwisaver from my stepfather).

   I cannot speak highly enough of Sue Barber and her assistant Sophie. I was dealing will an extremely stressful domestic matter and was always greeted with respect and made to feel welcome. Sue took my case on dispite not normally dealing with the district court in town and honestly went over and above to represent me. It was a long journey and I am privileged to have had such a lawyer beside me who genuinely cared. Her knowledge of the law and professionalism is outstanding and I would highly recommend her team for family matters. Thank you so much. ♥

   Very poor at answering questions via email and phone. They dealt with mums estate. No updates, fyi's, no condolences, contacted once in a year. I didn't know the process after a loved one dies....definitely wouldn't recommend them. I think my mum would have been disappointed that it was just a job to them.
