    Did not have a wonderful experience with a lady by the name of Sunita. I bought transmission oil as click and collect. Upon pickup, I requested to check if it's suitable for my vehicle.She told me it's not and I should not buy that online. I told her that it was available online and that their system showed "fits your vehicle," so I bought it. I had a similar experience when I bought a battery too. So I asked for a refund, but it's very unreliable, and people could be using a wrong product for their vehicles this way.

    Terrible absolutely TERRIBLE customer service here, especially the assistant manager do not go here, i went to Repco New lynn to do a warranty claim on my battery as its less then 1 year old and was acting up, car lights flickering etc, and new lynn branch was absolutely happy to give me a replacement but they didn’t have the battery in stock so told me to go to Kelston branch as they had it in stock, got there took my battery out of my car and took it in and was about to get swapped until the absolute joke of management stepped in to do anything they can to not uphold their warranties, she tested the battery and said it was fine because of the voltage (Voltage can look normal but the state of health on the test i had done shows the SOH was 32%) wayyyy below where you should be replacing a battery (around 60% SOH) so they’re testing isn’t even relevant to the health of the battery, AM kicked up huge fuss told me to get out for calling their test BS which it was and after an argument i just put the battery back in and went to a different Repco and they gave me the replacement battery as the old one (less then a year old) was faulty. What should’ve been a easy replacement turned out to be a huge mission around auckland for one of the Repcos to uphold their warranties and 2 of the 3 were happy to but not the Kelston branch. So rude and unprofessional even got the manager on the phone just tryna tell me how it is ur incompetent too mate, Give the younger ones there a promotion for their great customer service and understanding, The manager and especially assistant manager you both should hand your positions over to someone more deserving. I do apologize on my behalf though for getting a bit heated but what a joke you two in management are. I hope your higher ups can turn Kelston back around with some new management. Photo attached of a REAL battery test report from a reputable place i won’t name showing state of health is terrible and that battery needed to be replaced. I suggest Repco you should do some real battery test that shows more then just the voltage as voltage alone doesn’t tell you anything about the health of the battery it’s not rocket science

    Worst repco ever. Been into this store multiple times to ask for specific type of items for the staff to have absolutley no knowledge of the items we want. Even though they act like they do. Super cheap auto up the road is sooooo much better.

    I went to this store to buy engine oil and a filter and specifically asked the staff to confirm which oil was right for my Nissan Tiida. I gave them my rego number, but they still sold me the wrong oil. After getting it changed, my engine started shaking badly β€” and only then did I find out that the oil they recommended wasn’t suitable for my vehicle What’s worse, their advice was inconsistent with the recommendation shown on Repco’s own website. I ended up wasting time and money because of this poor advice. Really disappointed with the lack of product knowledge and care from the staff

    Super lady who served me. Knew exactly what I wanted. Took me straight to the shelving. I selected what I wanted from the range available and was able to get tge job done on my xar test afternoon.

    Repco is only as good as the people working there so at the moment not grate still a good shop just more senior staff members are far more youse full

    I went here to swap out a battery on site. In doing so, I had no tools. The staff was ready to help me with said tools. Very mind and helpful. Thank you! Would've been great if they had provided a service to replace the battery for me but algoods.

    The store is well presented and maintained. Customer service is okay and staff members are helpful. There are some good deals on offer almost all the time. I was here recently to get 1 litre of 5W40 Castrol engine oil for my audi a4 but they didn't have any stock of the same. Therefore I had to settle for a cheaper brand. I've been told they've also stopped discounting across all their products for repco card holders and now offer only on 'selected' products.
