I would recommend avoiding this club in particular, and all other naturist clubs in New Zealand - and hit the nude beaches, which are true naturism places for true naturists, free in the true sense of the word. The nude beaches are the best place to be. This club is on the decline, and best avoided. They have fallen from 750 to 250 members in 5 years - due to the duplicity of their committee, and its behaviour. They jacked up the price of visits 100%, and then are no longer naturists even in weather where I could be easily. On rejection, they suggested going to Katikati - insult to injury. 35% of their cabins stand empty, and if they wanted more members there would be more members. Their members are old, and unfriendly. 2026 will be the point at which their decline will at last become terminal.

It's secluded, well maintained, friendly staff and customers and well laid out and plenty of drinks and snacks..

-Avoid at all costs.- I applied for a day visit not a long time ago, with a filled application form. Got no response from them. Then I sent a reminder email, instantly received a reply from them telling me I was banned from the club. I had no clue about what I did wrong. Oh I see, bc my name doesnβt sound like an European one, so they judge people by race, age, gender and marital status I guess.

A well-spent lazy afternoon at the spa pool and sauna after working out! The members are welcoming to first-timer guests. I'm looking forward to going back for the native bush walk rich in birdlife. *Booking is required to visit the club on weekends only.*

My first time going to AONC was beautiful. We went in the summer time, as soon we drove past the drive way the city noise and atmospher dissipated and we were in a lovely sunny bushy place to relax. About the place, the cabins are basic but the amenities are great. There is a salt water pool, 2 spas and a sauna the cooking facilities are also pretty good with awesome bbq set up outside we used that a fair bit. The place is communal living. The showers and toilet blocks could use an update but other wise we were pleasantly supprised by the amenities.

I am a member of this Naturists club. I come here from my home 4 km away nearly every day to swim in the pristine 15m salt water pool surrounded by glorious nature consisting of trees, birds, absolute quiet, lovely gardens, a large well kept Club house and kitchen plus a modern Barbecue area and games facilities. The Caretakers are hard working, fastidious and friendly always available and helpful. The friendly family atmosphere is always welcoming so it is like a second home. There are frequently interesting visitors from all around the world to chat to as well as the other members who love the club as much as I do.It is an oasis of calm I'm our busy cosmopolitan City. A haven of peace.

Great family environment with amazing parklike grounds set in the Western side of Auckland. There are plenty of facilities including a new covered BBQ area and a large swimming pool. There are cabins available for those travelling on a per night basis. To travel to the centre of the city there are buses available from the gate and a train station nearby.
