   What an absolutely fabulous experience in dealing with Magness Benrow. Special mention of the patience, professionalism and total customer focus of Fletcher R who provided a personalised and committed service to us. We were after an induction cooktop that Magness had at a very good price so no surprise the item was 'out of stock', however Fletcher worked to reserve us one of the next consignment at the same sale price. The cooktop was shipped to us in Wgtn and arrived yesterday. This is exceptional and makes me believe the Company indeed lives by its stated values. Well done & thankyou soooo much.

   I'd always heard the ads but never purchased from them before. I needed a new fridge, most of the main retailers are exceptionally vague on delivery estimates and you can't speak to anyone directly as they outsource to another company. I called Magness Benrow to see how they worked for delivery, and it was the easiest experience I've had. Someone promptly answered their phone, let me know their prompt delivery time frame for the item I needed (within 1-2 days - awesome!) and they were the most competitively priced and had also matched a sales discount from one of the main retailers on the same product. Lucky me - they called me to schedule it for delivery not long after I placed the order and they were able to deliver in and install it directly into the fridge gap on the same day - well worth delivery fee of $100 for the care & attention they took. Excellent service, lovely people and quality new appliance for great price. I will definitely buy again!

   This is a one-star review based entirely on customer service. I had never shopped with Magnus Benrow before. Normally I buy from bigger chains like Noel Leeming or Harvey Norman, but I was after a specific induction freestanding oven, and they had it listed. I knew the name from their radio ads with two older folk joking around, which gave me enough confidence to call. I asked a question about the induction cooktop. Specifically, I wanted to know the actual size of the magnetic elements under the surface. This matters because many cooktops draw big circles but only have small magnets, which can damage your cookware. I’ve had this happen with portable units I had purchased. The person who answered seemed to find the question amusing, unreasonable, or pointless. I explained why I was asking, but he kept up the mocking tone and told me I should ask the manufacturer. He didn’t offer to find out or provide any contact details. So, I looked it up myself. Within 15 minutes I found the manufacturer’s number, called them, and got a very clear answer. The magnets go to the edge of the drawn circle, which is exactly what I needed to know (It’s Beko by the way). I called the store again to share the information; I got through to the same staff member (there were two with the same name). As expected, I got more of the same tone. When I said I would be buying the product, just not from them, he announced that he was perfectly happy with that. He certainly sounded like someone trying to sound happy. I suppose they must be doing so much business that a single sale in the low thousands doesn’t matter too much. Nice to hear the economy is working for them, at least. I ended up buying from Folders, a brand I hadn’t used before. I looked into them, found they have a strong reputation, and their service was professional from start to finish. I ended up speaking to three of their people and they were all very personable. I’m glad I found them. It’s a shame. I liked Magnus Benrow’s ads. I just won’t be shopping there.

   Bought an ex demo OLED TV from Greenlane but when I got it home it was faulty. They had someone come out the next day to look at it and confirmed it was faulty. Had a replacement, brand new TV delivered and installed that afternoon. Great service. It is not the problem that causes customer dissatisfaction. Problems happen. It is how it is dealt with and this could not have been better.
