   To the Management of Hallenstein Brothers Clothing Store at Newlyn Mall, Greetings and good day, I visited your store at 9:30 AM on July 20, 2025 to do some shopping. Unfortunately, one of the female staff members did not behave appropriately. She not only failed to speak to me with respect and courtesy, but also responded to my questions with impatience and rudeness, which was quite upsetting. As a customer, I expect your staff to treat people with politeness, warmth, and professionalism. I sincerely hope you take this matter seriously and provide the necessary training to ensure your staff interact with customers in a respectful and helpful manner.

   I always buy clothes from this store but this time i had very bad experience with employee name Keith (as he said his name). His behaviour was very rude and unprofessional.

   I had a great experience coming here. I came in looking for business attire and was served by a young man called Jake I believe?. He was helpful, friendly, and genuine. Really thankful for his help the other day. Will be coming back.

   Just been there today and I was initially seen by a young lady there and she was awesome but there was also Jake and man he was so good, really listened to what I was looking for and helped me get everything I needed. Hope to see them both next time I’m in!

   I went with my son on Saturday 27 August to buy cargoes, a hoodie and a belt. That's the last time I'll shop at Hallenstein's. The service was appalling. The three young women working (and I use the term loosely) could not have been less interested in helping us or anyone else. The two at the counter were busy looking at their phones and online shopping using the shop computer. When I asked if the trousers came in a smaller size, one of them begrudgingly said "I guess I could have a look". When my son went to try the clothes on, there was another young woman sitting outside the changing rooms engrossed in her phone. Another mother buying clothes for her son had given up asking for help and was fetching sizes for her son and putting the sizes that didn't fit back on hangers and hanging them up in the shop. We went to North Beach instead and paid more but got excellent service.

   To be honest i didn't expect such poor service. I walked in the store yesterday 19/4/22 with my son looking for a slim belt and also some seasonal wear . We asked the young female attendant where the belts were and she kindly showed them to us and walked off. The store had 2 customers only at that time. (Not including us). My son tried on couple of belts but the one he wanted was a bit small. So I walked to the counter and asked the attendant if one of the slim belts was available in my sons size . (The store was empty now ) The attendant walked with me to the place where belts were hanging , looked at it and than replied”IM NOT SURE AS I NEED TO LOOK INTO THE BELT BOX” and walked back to the counter of an empty store and just stood there. I was shocked by this. At back of my mind i was thinking how many belt's can there be in a box as i have worked in retail and know the size of boxes as well. It was like she wasn't bothered to sell a belt worth $40 . I looked at her again thinking she will help us but she looked away. I walked out of the store and said to my son that she lost a large sale as she wasn't interested in her customers. Needless to say i finished my sons clothing and belt shopping elsewhere. Im definitely not going back here. Really disappointed. .

   Came in yesterday with my partner to get him a suit and had the best service ever! I can’t remember her name but I think she is the store manager, she was incredibly helpful and so friendly! She is an amazing asset to the lynnmall store and the company☺️
