   Nice friendly people. But last 2 times I have called in to refill my prescription, then they sent a text to say it was ready for collection but when I went down ( the next morning) it wasn't ready and had to wait 40 or more minutes each time. Today ( second time) was stressful as heading overseas and didnt factor in 40 mins waiting in pharmacy. Seems to indicate some problems with their procedures.

   Very rude male pharmacist. He asked me if I needed help then walked off midway through my query. Another pharmacist had to leave what they were doing to come help me. Even they seemed embarrassed over his behaviour. Not going back.

   Terrible service. Not processing scripts in a timely manner. Told it would take 20 mins for my scripts so I came back after half an hour and the lady didn't remember taking my acript and couldn't find it. Pharmacist and the techs too busy chatting to look for it. They were happy to whisper about me and stare at me but not speak to me. Eventually found my script and told to come back later. When I became assertive and told them I needed it now as I had babies waiting with me they were magically able to fill my script there and then. No apologies or communication, no hurry or customer service skills.

   The Team at the Island Pharmacy always greet you with a smile. The team are knowledgeable and have a good selection of products. We are a high use family of their services from shop items to scripts and we are always grateful for them being filled promptly, accurately and with excellent communication. Its a hard role being in retail and the team are very much focussed on the community and community spirit. Thank you for your services.

   After 6 years since tha last review I need to report that nothing has changed. This pharmacy is unprofessional and unhelpful. Pharmacists bury their faces in pills and hide from customers and when you eventually get to talk to one they are unkind and unhelpful. Be careful. They are notorious for making mistakes with doses happened to me twice that my child got too little antibiotic and had to repeat treatment. Now they gave us too few tablets and we got stuck on Saturday night... check what you get!

   We have been with Unichem Island bay for 8 years, and they have always gone above and beyond in their service for us. We have a child with a chronic genetic condition that requires ongoing medications prescribed by a range of different specialists. Unichem IB always ring to double check crossovers and dosages, and keep note of our daughter's allergies. Other customers/commenters should be aware that expired repeats, wrong dosages, and incorrect medicines are almost always concerns that relate to the prescriber, not the dispenser (I.E. the doctor, not the pharmacy).

   Very uncommunicative. Gave them 2 scripts for repeat, and not told that one had expired by a few days. Realised the next day I didn't have one, had to ring through and be told on the phone that it had expired. It wouldn't have killed them to tell me that info in person.
