Come here quite regularly as the boys love it. Climbing slides, sandpit, flying fox as well as a good area to kick the ball around.
One of the most impressive features of the playground is the baskets that are suspended high above the ground by monkey ropes at a height of four meters. They resemble giant bird nests that offer panoramic views of the park. As an adult, I was afraid when I climbed the ropes, feeling every vibration and shaking of the structure. But children of three years old easily climb the ropes, deftly clinging to rope ladders and nets. They show no fear or discomfort with the movement of the rope structure when they reach the baskets and enjoy the thrill of being so high. Children just as easily descend by themselves, using ropes and ladders.
Great park. Lots of different age type playground swings and slides etc. Also a Flying fox and big slide.
Alway a very good place to take the kids for a play around. The playground is well set out and always clean and tidy. Lots to climb on and we'll set out. Love the flying fox and the trees and seating. Parking can be hard at peak times but usually good. Wave pools are just 100m away across the foot bridge and there are fields next door for sports etc. Cool as spot
Fantastic! Plenty for the big kids to enjoy and an area for the little ones, too (although the park is definitely better suited to older children). LOVE the shade, the plentiful spots for Mum and Dad to sit, and the beautiful park setting with picnic spots nearby. We’ll be back!
What a cool little park, tucked away off the main road for little bods to enjoy. A variety of different obstacles to tackles and caters for all ages (with a small, original playground still available for the super young ones). Still traffic around as the playground is surrounded by a one way road and no barriers as such to stop them wandering. Great find though!
