Great supply of clothes, accessories, toys and preloved homeware! Fantastic for finding woolen gear and waterproofs and puffer coats to keep the children warm in winter! Categorised and colour coordinated!
Great amount of cloths and very clean and organised but I think some prices are ridiculous. You get your stuff for free it's all second hand I don't think there should be large prices on things.
This store was awesome. The clothes are well organised ,a huge selection, and plenty of room to move around. The staff were helpful and friendly. The prices were a bit high for some items ($ 96 for a womans unlined tartan jacket) ($27 for a stained Nike mens t-shirt), and they only take eftpos but overall if you like second hand clothes this is worth a visit
After being a customer for at least the last 10 years today was my last visit. The average price for an extremely used single top seemed to be around $15, most dresses hitting the $30 or even $40 mark. Long gone are the days of a bargain for something cool and it just reeks of greed. You feel like a criminal from the moment you enter. Long gone are the days of a trolley or basket and you hear screams of "3 items in the changing room ONLY!" with there being nowhere to store any more over your overpriced items you want to purchase or God forbid try on. I feel like the staff are doing the best they can to impose ridiculous rules from the higher ups who are making a killing on profits - rather than offering a mechanism where those customers who are actually struggling could have access to items to make them feel human (I could justify paying some of those prices if it helped others in the community).
Love this place. Before you spend hundreds of $ on a winter coat, go here first. Great quality buys at affordable prices. Would love for the men and kids sections to be expanded.
Some things seem a little expensive for a second hand shop but definitely some good finds, place is huge.
Rude staff and volunteers with the worst communication skills. Inadequate lighting. Sometimes EFTPOS is the only acceptable form of payment required. SaveMart is quite dusty, so you may want to wear a mask? SaveMart probably has the biggest collection of clothing in Porirua? And the prices for items range. The cheapest item I've bought is $6.99 and the dearest is $24.99. I don't recommend SaveMart to people who shop on a (low) budget. You're better off shopping at Salvation Army Family Stores or the Mary Potter Hospice stores or St Vinny's (St. Vincent de Paul).
On clothes, hard to find your size. Suggested they use coat hangers with size coloured coded like the Warehouse now do.
Great place, great clothing and just overall a pleasing place to go to. Workers are really nice. I would recommend going there!
