    Coastal Electronics had my Samsung Odyssey Ultrawide monitor for repair via warranty claim - passed over to them from Noel Leeming. After seeing the reviews I was apprehensive about how this would turn out, but I genuinely had no issues at all. Communication was solid - they called to request a time for pickup, and again on the day of pickup to confirm, technicians called when they were on the way, left a voicemail when repair had finished to request a drop-off time, zero fuss returning the monitor to me, and the repair itself took a week which felt reasonable. The monitor is back and seems to be working fine (was a power supply issue). Can't fault the service and experience from Coastal Electronics on this repair.

    Gross service, unreliable , and the technicians they send out (Andrew) specifically is a liar. We have been in the process of getting our washing machine repaired through warrenty over the last 4-5 weeks. They initally came to inspect to see what parts were needed so they could be ordered and then collect machine to repair. They picked up the machine once parts arrived and never gave an ETA, we called daily only getting through to voicemail, we also called the technician Andrew and had the same issue, they never tried to call back or give any response. We finally got our machine back just after 2 weeks, only for it to be continuing the issue. We were told by Andrew that he had done all diagnostic testing and the drum and bearings were replaced, he said he does not know the issue but these parts were replaced. He said he would put a request forward for a replacement as testing left him unsure on problem. We then had the office call us and say that parts had arrived and a technician (Andrew) would be over tomorrow to put these in, this left us very confused as the communication we had was that a replacement was being requested as all testing had already been done and he did not know the issue. The office lady advised she had no notes left by said technician regarding opting for a replacement and he can come tomorrow to fix with these new parts even though he was unsure of the problem. Technician comes to put these parts in, and we are still having the same issue. We call thus company every week, they are awful with answering calls or calling back when told they will. The boss Arvine is absolutely rude and when we expressed our frustration based on what his technician had told us and not followed through with, he said that his employee never said that, but he did twice which is obviously why we are frustrated being told something that many times and it not being delivered on. At this point everything on the machine has been replaced, all diagnostic testing was done the first 2 weeks they had the machine and they are requesting to take the machine back to do diagnostic testing for a second time as part of "samsung process". Annoying to be left without a machine multiple times and long periods over 1 month because of them telling lies and not communicating. Their current reviews speak for themselves, would not use or recommend this service to anybody, the owner speaks down at you and comes across as very arrogant, the whole team there do not know how to communicate accordingly and very poorly run business, would rate them negative if the option was there

    If I could give this company a negative number I would. Booked a DVD player in to have it de zoned, whatever the tech did it did not work. Have tried multiple times over the past 3 days to talk yo tge tech about it, no response. Would not recommend or use them again

    EDIT: Changing this review to a 1 star. Having seen other reviews of this place I took my item elsewhere for a second opinion. Just to be safe. Lo and behold they absolutely did not find the problem with the device that Coastal Electronics said existed and a repair was definitely doable. My recommendation - think very carefully before doing business with this company ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They really need to work on their communication. It started well, with email confirmation they could do the job. However, after dropping the item off - nothing. No quote for repairs, no advice on what was needed. Phone was never answered, messages left were not responded to, and no substantive answers provided via email either. In the end I had to go to their premises to find out what was going on and was told they couldn't do the repair. I don't have a problem with that. It was just a shame they couldn't have got in touch to tell me this a lot sooner. Guys, it's not that hard to return a call or answer an email and it means a lot to a customer when you do. If you don't care enough about your customers to do that, then what care do you put into your actual repairs?

    5 Stars all day! Called up about a faulty LG fridge under warranty and the technician was able to fit me in the same day. Was informed I would be called sometime around 2. Technician called at 2, was at my place by 2:30. Inspected the fridge, and informed me I would need a replacement! Great guy, really helpful and informative! Highly recommend! Thanks again for coming out so quickly!

    In the process of dealing with a warranty repair for a Samsung washing machine. Samsung said we would be contacted in 48 hours - I called after 3 working days to be told a part was on order and expected to arrive in a couple of days. I then received an email with booking time for the following week (Monday morning) - no one showed up or called me to follow up. I've called up every day since then (it's now Thursday) and finally got someone on the line. I have now been told the part hasn't arrived yet, but should arrive in the next few days. Have made and confirmed another booking for next Tuesday, and requested a phone call if anything changes. We shall see what happens between now and then.

    Absolutely shocking service from this company, they were unprofessional and have a severe lack of communication. When emailing to ask questions, we received blunt two word answers in response. When calling them querying their lack of communication, the person we dealt with said it wasn't their fault. I would not recommend using this company to anyone, it took them 6 weeks to repair our washing machine. The technician arrived late each time without providing notice of being late and had appalling personal hygiene.

    We used Coastal Electronics to fix a faulty Sony TV which was covered under warranty. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with the people at Coastal Electronics, great communication and very accommodating, even offered to supply a loan TV while I waited to get my TV back, the service was great and I would definitely use their services again. Thanks so much team!

    Appalling service. Took 6 weeks for microwave to be fixed, and only then when I kicked up a fuss with the retailer. Retailer said they were hopeless. Tried to call Coastal direct several times but phone just kept ringing.

    Very poor customer service. No communication skills. Don't reply to emails or voice messages. You can only use Coast to fix your Samsung products and they are dire. Waited 28 days for them to come out.
