It’s rare to find staff who genuinely care about their customers, but Sue absolutely does.    Such a different review for Takanini staff amazing friendly helpful and even the store had a homely feel to it, they are way better than the Manukau lot yes I gave Manukau a bad review had to sadly give them 1 star cause it wouldn't let me give them none.    Bought a angle grinder , found it got sabotaged by the previous owner and turned to be lethal. Then i go back to the shop and nicely told them the truth and they need a proper parts to repair it. An asian boy n a maori lady staff reply me: since it's on discount, why don't you fix yourself?????? . What a staffs training and management they have now ! End up with money returned, no apology and treat me as a trouble maker

   Bought an iMac in 2023 for less than 800 dollars. It functions very well and it is as new (except the keyboard which has some smudge under the buttons) The staff were generally very friendly and helpful. Good choice, good purchase.

   Called several times about stolen items and even had a police report, video footage, models and sn#, receipts etc for the items. The staff took my details & adviced only the manager can help. Who never called or emailed back. It's been 2 months. I've worked as a pawnbroker so I know their process. It seems like they don't want to have stolen items information so they can keep taking the stolen items in?

   Ii purchased a PS3. Got it home to find it didn't work - issues with reading disks, took it back, waited while the store attendant dealt with a customer returning a blender that didn't work. It was tested, took another 15 mins, then exchanged it for a pricer model, waited another 10 mins for the manager to approve, then got home to find the replacement PS3 was suffering exactly the same issue. I live 25mins and 25km from the shop, so this whole episode has been a complete and utter waste of time. DO NOT SHOP HERE, they don't sell goods in working condition. they don't test anything. What a joke!

   PS4 controller not charging for last few days. Today was the last day for warrenty cover. They tested for ten secs told me to take it home and charge it if still broken bring it back. The controller was broken and before it was replaced I had to make two trips to cash converters takanini from papakura so I wasted gas and time today. I guess this type of customer service is to be expected going to a pawn shop
