Steve and his team have done an amazing job with our very old pool. His ideas and recommendations have been spot on, and the communication has been great. Our pool looks fantastic now. Would highly recommend Mayfair Pools. As an added note, I think the review before me is for another trader, as there is no "Richard" on Steve's team.

We signed a contract with Richard and joined a one year waiting list. 14 months later the first thing he did was excavate 30cm out of position. He never denied he'd gotten it wrong, and he never apologised - he just expected us to alter the plans for our pool surround to accommodate his error. We escalated to Clint, the MD of the Mayfair Pools franchise and he first tried to convince me that getting one measurement right was good enough, and then gave that up when my male partner joined in on the call. Pathetic. We said we could compromise and make the pool 30cm longer to still fit in with plans, and he said that might work but we'd have to pay extra as we'd be getting a larger pool. We were not prepared to pay etxra for their mistake. While I was on this call the workers came and uninstalled some of the pool framework, packed up their tools, and left the site never to return and we never heard from Richard again. We took Richard to dispute tribunal to try and get our deposit back, but it became evident he'd been there before and knew what to do - as he'd never confirmed that he'd abandoned the site and he was prepared to lie and say he woulld've come back, we couldn't get our deposit. We heard later that ours wasn't the only job Richard had abadoned.
Pools are the best
Stephen is a master pool creator. In our initial meeting, we were impressed by his attention to detail, and obvious knowledge and experience. From there we had some groundworks to complete, but Stephen would stop by and ensure we understood what was happening. He was on site consistently, hands on, and managed all aspects of the installation seamlessly. We have sung his praises to all our friends, and we appreciate his ongoing assistance with any little questions Our pool has been a dream come true, and we are truly thankful we found Stephen and his team. 10/10 Mayfair pools!

You made the whole process from start to finish as easy as possible and we appreciated your advice and experience wherever choices were to be made.
