A great place for teaching children to swim. I now have 2 children attending and they both love their weekly classes. The staff are great, constantly keeping the students engaged and striving to succeed.
We’ve had a consistently wonderful experience at Hilton Brown Swimming Albany. The staff are always friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. My son has been swimming here for almost two years now, and the progress and confidence he has gained are remarkable. We would like to recognise two outstanding staff members based on our personal experience: Teacher Robbie – Exceptionally patient and motivating. His calm approach helps the kids feel safe and confident in the water, and we truly appreciate the encouragement he gave every lesson. Teacher Lena – A great manager and a very very amazing role model. Even with group classes, her teaching is incredible because she manages to tailor her approach to each child’s needs. She maintains just the right balance of kindness and firmness, creating a positive and productive learning environment. We are very grateful for the dedication and hard work of the team. The swimming pool is clean and hygienic. The instructors are friendly and professional. My child really loves coming here for lessons and always has a great time. Highly recommended!
My son(4years old) improved his swimming skill a lot from the amazing instructors. Full 30 mins session, no time wasting like council pools. Absolutely enjoying my son swimming skill after I joined him in Hilton Brown Albany.
Swimming is good but the parking is pointless Had a 16h00 appointment. Arrived at 15h40. Waited in the parking lot until 16h15 until a parking became available. Essentially son had a 10 minute lesson. If ypu cant accommodate the amount of students how are we meant to be on tome
A good school for teaching your kids to swim. The administration seems pretty efficient. They have an excellent parent portal which streamlines class bookings.
My first child I moved around a few different swim schools. My second child I discovered Hilton Brown Albany and she did the toddler and then preschool lessons and had amazing teachers, who really go the extra mile every single class! I switched my first child over to Hilton Brown and they both swim in the school age kids. My older one’s technique has become much more polished and streamlined and my second child has carried on improving at an amazing rate with a beautiful technique, so I then signed up my third one into the toddler class too, the team are so friendly and helpful and it feels like a very personalised exeperienced.
Very bad experience in this facilities!! The poorest management team ever!! The manager is very rude trust me!! I enrolled this private class which is cost $60 per 30 minutes, today I have been told they were going to cancel my class because the other teacher was sick and my teacher was going to cover him only because that class have more children(which they can earn more money), that's was absurd behaviour in NZ!! If any parents are looking for a place for your child to learn swim, trust me, this is not a good choice. They will lack of staff and suddenly changing the class time with rude communication skill!!
