The hallmark of a good company is how they respond when things don't go right. I had occasion to contact the company with a problem which I didn't think they handled that well. However, they took the trouble to request feedback and when I told them of the situation they corrected it immediately. Well done.
I feel tricked and ripped off. I went into the store with my son, who had broken the screen on his school HP laptop. I asked the lady if they did trade in's, which she said they did. I told the lady that I wanted to trade in the broken screen laptop and another similar HP laptop that I wasn't using and get him a better Windows 11 refurbished unit. The lady told me that I would be better off making a good laptop out of the two that I had, as that would save me a lot of money, as even a refurbished unit would be $3-$400. I said OK and paid their $80 deposit. I then received a quote for $450 to fix the broken laptop and clean it up, which didn't even include upgrading it to Windows 11. I refused the work and went around the corner to NZ Laptop Wholesale and got a great refurbished HP, with everything I needed for $419 (not even requiring a trade in). Advanced Computers just take your deposit money without any real consideration. I would never recommend this company. Beware of them tricking you into a deposit.
these guys completely broke my phone. don't know how they couldn't handle a simple battery change but they found a way to mess it up. the first time round they messed up the firmware and the phone would get stuck in a boot loop. then after taking it bake they installed a faulty battery and now the phone doesn't recognize it. looks like they either installed an old battery that no longer works or they installed a battery belonging to another phone. would rater less than 1 star if i could don't come here unless you want to waste your time and money
My Mac completely died during one of the busiest weeks of the year and I genuinely thought Iād lost everything. I took it to Advanced Computers and from the moment I walked in I felt like I was in good hands. They explained the issue in plain language kept me updated throughout the process and even prioritized the repair so Iād have it back in time for work!!!
The technical team are amazing! So far, they have managed to repair my camera and ailing laptop. They are thorough and don't give up until they have fixed the problem. Very reliable service and results and the ladies at reception are very patient and kind!
I've been going to Advanced Computers on the North Shore for many years, and they always provide great service at a fair price. They serviced my MacBook Pro recently, and they excelled once again - great communication and a great result. I thoroughly recommend them.

I tried to get the "e" key fixed on my Macbook at several locations, everyone was difficult and then I dealt with the team at advanced computers, they were friendly as hell, fixed it while I waited after the ordered the part, they were communicative as to the process and didn't waste my time. I would highly recommend using them as opposed to anyone else.

An excellent company to work with. Needed to get parts from overseas to repair my camera lens. Great communication - very professional and I felt I was being included at all stages. Thank you. Would definitely use this company again should I need further repairs to my camera gear etc.
