I emailed My Tax Back requesting copies of my income for the last financial year to be sent to me. On the following day I received an email with the information I requested. I am impressed with the prompt & efficient response.

Yeah just a reply to your lies. My budget advisor done all the work for you! And you have charged me twice. Also says if we don't get tax back you won't charge us. but you still did. Theres 100s of bad Reviews about your company I seen them all today! So coming on and defending your toxic self towards your ex and new client's I wasn't explained in good manner and you just took 300 today for something that was already added after I send or told you on the phone don't do anymore work for me. As I wasn't happy with your job the last time. But you still carried on. All information had been sorted and you should of been honest and just given it back to my budget advisor or told me first before going ahead and ripping me off for doing nothing. What goes around comes around all I say to dishonest people. You also got me a late fee of $50 because you said you were to busy. So that should of been paid by you but you made me pay it.
Don't use this company it's a scam! They take your money for work my other budget advisor set out! I never knew about their costs because they don't tell you or explain this in a decent manner. They also say they won't charge you if there's not a refund. I owed 10k and he told me if I don't pay $175. I won't get what he's done! Rip off. Also he had again all receipts all set out for 2025 after I told him not to do anymore work for me. I was upset he went ahead anyway I got tax back after my budget advisor adding everything and Jason charged me $300 for do nothing. Now they are lying and can't understand why I'm upset. I'm a Christian ✝️ I don't lie. I also had lost my job at the time. No sympathy just money and a 10k bill owed don't use them. And get a lawyer involved.
The absolute worse company to deal with, I've used other before which were straight forward about what they charge and for what. Mytaxback, total scam in broad day light, they just silently slide the extra charges in there until you notice and ask them what's the extra charge for? No response. Call customer service to explain, and apparently they can't do nothing because it has already been deducted. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, NO" "LET'S TRY AND SOLVE THIS" ATTEMPT AT ALL!!! Zero customer service satisfaction in play as long as they take your money they don't care if it's not an honest charge on you.
I had a few queries beyond the return such as PIE rates and with me retiring what rate changes I might need to advise my KiwiSaver provider. My Tax Back NZ guided me gently through it and in language I could understand. Thank you

As a young teen I was curious about tax refunds and had unknowingly and stupidly entered my details not knowing that there was a fee payable now I have a dept collector emailing me saying I owe hundreds of dollars that I cannot afford to pay Ontop of that I cannot contact this company without entering my ird number This is shady and I feel bullied
