   My relocation is already stressful enough, so seeing the great service I got fro Hire a Maid today was a great relief! Getting the end-of-tenancy cleaning done in such a fantastic way, took a big load off my shoulders. I am happy to recommend Hire a Maid (even though in my case the "maids" were both male!). I certainly couldn't have done it in the same time at the same quality level. If you are looking for an awesome service, give these a go! A couple of recommendations: If they missed a spot just talk to them. They'll correct it right away. If you have a larger place (I had 4 bedrooms), then ask them to start in the morning allowing for enough time to finish. All up, fantastic service! I'm happy to recommend them based on my experience today! Great job!

   Really disappointed with the service we received. We were originally quoted for a 4-hour clean, but I told them upfront that wouldn’t be enough — so we agreed to increase it to 8 hours. Then once they arrived on-site, they told us it still wouldn’t be enough and pushed it out to 12 hours. Each time, the price kept increasing from what we had initially paid, which felt pretty shady. In total, we spent $450 — and even after all that time and cost, the clean was far from acceptable. • Walls and baseboards weren’t wiped • Showers were left dirty • Rubbish was still lying around • The oven, which we paid extra for, wasn’t cleaned properly or reassembled Then they had the nerve to ask for another $130 on top of everything, even though the job wasn’t done to a reasonable standard. We ended up having to hire another company just to get the place properly cleaned. Really disheartening experience. I wouldn’t recommend based on the lack of transparency and poor quality of work.

   Extremely disappointed with the service. The team promised a thorough clean, including bringing a ladder to clean the ceilings — but they showed up without a ladder and didn’t follow through on what was agreed with the work. The overall quality of the clean was subpar considering how many hours which we paid them for. I would not recommend this company if you’re looking for a proper, professional clean. Now we’re having to go back to the property and finish off the job ourselves as our landlord was also not impressed.

   Do not recommend at all. The cleans themselves are no where near up to professional standard. The cleaners kept asking for another week to show that they can meet professional standard. Then the 3rd week of this, they haven’t even shown up. My last email to them was that I would accept their offer of one more week, no shows. They kept emailing me (after I sent two different break downs of what they aren’t doing) asking me to show them or explain more- it is not my job to bring a company who advertises as trained and professional cleaners up to standard or to train them. The price is $100 per week more than all my previous cleaners and in no way offer the standard to align with that.

   Very disappointed in this service. Multiple items from the checklist were not cleaned or not done properly. The cleaner did the bare minimum for $140. And the agency offered no re-clean or any compensation when I cancelled the service after the first appointment.

   Horrible job by them. Hired them to do a one off clean. Their cleaners did not even try at all. Cabinets and sink were untouched. The Shower had a lot of soap which they clearly just left, can barely see any difference before and after. I was told they tried different cleaning products and could not remove, which was a complete lie. I managed to get a small patch cleaned easily with just some jiff. A complete waste of time.

   When another company cancelled my end of tenancy clean the day before it was scheduled, Hire a Maid came through last minute. The woman on the phone was so friendly and understanding of my situation, made sure everything was explained and understood before we booked. They did an amazing job of the place. Would recommend to anyone!
