   My daughter attends this centre and when we had her first visit, I knew we didn't have to look at any other centres because of the warm, whanau environment and caring nature of the teachers. Haley and her team are caring, empathetic and are very attentive to the children. I know I can drop my child off and not have to worry and if something does arise their communication skills are amazing. My daughter loves it at KCC and has grown such strong bond with the teachers and children. If you are looking in Karori, I highly recommend this place for your child!

   This is a fantastic centre with attentive and caring kaiako. We had to move our daughter unexpectedly at the end of last year when her previous ECE shut down and the team at KCC made the transition as smooth as possible. The centre is small so you don't feel like your child will be forgotten amongst the chaos but there is still plenty for the kids to do and explore. I would definitely recommend KCC to anyone living in or near the area!

   My two children have attended KCC and I couldn't be more happy with my experience. My son is now 10 and still loves visiting and seeing the same teachers who were there when he left. A warm and caring environment. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a more family feeling daycare.

   Run screaming. This place was a nightmare. The owner decided one day to randomly put three layer of clothing on our son, then put him to sleep under a blanket. He required medical attention. Shortly after the owner attempted to falsely claim our child had various issues (all fake) so they could get a free ministry funded 'watcher' for him. When that failed and we moved him. A male called his new kindy to locate our son, we strongly suspect this was linked to the owner, and the police investigated it. This all resulted in a year long Ministry over watch. We also had one of the KCC teachers show up on our doorstep drunk one night asking which kindy we moved him too, and how he was, and if he had anything to say about his time at KCC, I can't prove anything went on there, but ... You were warned. All of this is documented, and our complaint should be available from the Ministry of Education, including subsequent documents as the situation got increasingly bizarre.

   Especially in the years before your child can speak, your greatest fear as a parent is what happens when you're not there. Will they be protected?.. will they be nurtured?.. will they be adequately supervised?.. etc etc. The carers, the environment, the education, the nutritious meals, the abundance of exciting activities in different rooms, there is SO much about KCC that makes it extra special. I have a typically clingy child and even if she hasn't seen the carers for weeks, lunges for them when she sees them. Testament to how nurtured she feels when she is in their company. My daughter and I just couldn't give it all enough praise. Thank you KCC. We are ever so grateful. Why can't everywhere be like you.

   I love that my daughter has a strong connection not only with her friends but with her teachers at KCC. She is secure and comfortable here and often wants to carry on playing at the end of the day pickup! She has exposure to new and wonderful things on a daily basis and it's great how they get out and about in the community regularly. I would highly recommend KCC to anyone looking for early childhood education for their children.
