Currently going through a claim and had an independent builder assessment and their assessor. I have him on camera assessing damage to a house in less than eight minutes after a storm. First thing out of his mouth was tile roof is the issue needs to be replaced he hadn’t even got up to look at it. I’m on an emotional roller coaster of approval than not approved now awaiting a properly assessment again. Only own this house for a year and it was maintained by Kaingaora before that!! After this I am definitely changing companies! Family use another one and they are apparently easier to deal with. Just be aware their assessor definitely works for them. Update, we got paid out after another building assessment from a nominated by them company and she was fantastic. I declined their builder though! I think it went through as I sent video evidence and lodged a complaint. I also contacted services designed to help negotiate with the insurance companies, recommend doing this if dealing with this firm.

Absolutely horrific to deal with, no duty of care at all and seem impervious to any form of communication. No care or communication or even urgency at all. Still waiting now going on 40 days for the car seats to be replaced. Children's car seat - amazing .

UNACCEPTABLE TIME TAKEN TO RESOLVE CLAIM AND UNSATISFACTORY RESOLUTION. EARLY DEC: Made a claim for damaged I phone that cost $1200 in 2016. 14 JAN: After waiting for IAG courier box to arrive, Couriered phone to directed repairer. 7 FEB: Wife emailed IAG after not hearing back regards repair status. 10 FEB: Wife called IAG to follow up email Sent 7 Feb. Was advised by very apologetic Claims rep that REASON FOR DELAY WAS CLAIM CASE MANAGERS HEAVY WORK LOAD. 10 FEB: Requested $200 excess be wavered as a goodwill gesture noting time taken to resolve claim and having to call and prompt IAG for a reply. Offered no claims bonus worth $300 over 2yrs non-negotiable. Obviously will not be able to claim for next 2yrs to receive the offered no claim bonus which really defeats the purpose of having insurance and paying annual premiums. THANKS IAG FOR TAKING 2MONTHS TO RESOLVE OUR CLAIM AND FOR LITERALLY OFFERING US NOTHING IN RETURN FOR YOUR POOR SERVICE. Also worth noting that phone was insured for what it cost $1200. Due to phone no longer being available we are now being offered a replacement phone currently worth $400 and pay $200 excess.
