   It was Arnold’s first time getting groomed, and honestly I think I can speak for him when I say he had the best experience. For a puppy’s first groom, it’s essential that they feel safe, comfortable, and happy, and this place checked every box for me. When I went to pick him up, he looked amazing. They listened carefully to my requests and did even better than I expected. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family for their amazing service.

   “I’m very happy with their work. They provided the best service for my dog everything was done very cleanly, neatly, and with great care. Even though I contacted them very late to make a an appointment, when I called and explained that I urgently needed a time, they kindly arranged the earliest possible appointment so I could bring my dog in. I can honestly say this is one of the best places and I highly recommend them.”

   Deeply disappointing after 5 years of loyalty I’ve been bringing Poppy my toy poodle here for grooming for the past five years and we’ve always had a great experience — until today. We booked her usual full grooming at 2:30pm ($109), arrived on time, and were greeted by a new manager I’ve never seen before. The moment I dropped Poppy off, she immediately said Poppy’s hair was “messy” and would need extra time and extra cost. This has never happened in all the years we’ve been coming, so I was already surprised and not impressed. I returned after giving them an extra 20 minutes, only to find Poppy half done — her body clipped but her head completely untouched. Then I was told she would need another 45 minutes. She kept insisting that I “need to brush her more,” even though Poppy has been groomed here many times without any issues or extra charges. We had scheduled plans based on the usual 90-minute grooming window, so I had no choice but to take Poppy as she was. To make things worse, when I went to pay, I realised she had charged me $119 — more than the full grooming price — for a half-finished job. When I asked why, she couldn’t give a clear explanation and just repeated that Poppy’s hair was messy and should be cut shorter next time. Well, there will be no next time. I’m paying for a service, not a half service, extra charges, and rude, unjustified comments. The one star is only for the wonderful groomers they used to have, who always treated Poppy well over the years. But after today’s experience with the new management, we won’t be returning.

   If there were a 2.5 option I would’ve taken it. Just as 2 was a little under, 3 feels too high. I could rant and rave about the details but easier is to say I didn’t get what I asked for. Unfortunately I kinda expect that these days. Probably always been this way but now we get to complain about it on google reviews. One final snippet of information that deserves its own mention and sums it up nicely is - they cut the tip of his tail off. And it used to be really sweet looking, normal. Why would you do this? Maybe they believed it was a good look but it’s 99% more to do with lack of care or attention. Truly hate to say it but Animates were better (only tried the 2 as he’s only 6months old and certainly will be trying a 3rd!).

   Papillon dog, ear fringe cut. Did specify before grooming not to cut it *facepalm* (Ear fringe is their signature look and can take upto 2yrs to fully grow back as this part grows in layers) Unfortunate as I have been using their services since 2019 and they always had left the ear fringe alone till today. Sorry I'm just not confident to take my dog there anymore: First, whoever was the groomer clearly doesnt know about some dogs (ie. Not cutting ears of papillons) However, second and more importantly, she ignored the request - i don't expect the groomers to know all about breed specific needs hence the specific and only request not to cut his ear Thank you for your services till now. 31/12/2024 Edit reply to owner: please check your phone messages and your internet contact message. There's an attempt on both. And the discounted price of $85 (they did offer further $20 refund, no more. Sorry i dont need a half-tried attempt. Keep the 85) - i feel so stupid for have paying it although I was in shock at the time! I should've have spoken with the manager then - i wouldn't have paid my hairdresser for shaving my hair, so why should have i paid for the fringe cut? Edit: Monthly update/fringe diary 16 Apr. Fringe still not back to normal. Finally grew out something worthy to call a fringe

   Could not recommend this place enough. My dog has severe behavioural issues when it comes to grooming yet the groomers did a fantastic job with him. Very patient and accommodating and my long haired border collie is now completely matte free!

   I have been visiting Paw Hub since our Spoodle puppy Roxy was 4 months old. She is now 2 years old and we visit Paw Hub on a regular and frequent basis. I could not be happier with the job they do. She walks in looking like a shaggy ball of fluff and emerges looking like a rock star. In my eyes at least. These guys are seriously talented. Thanks
