   I first contacted Tony at GB Pensions to advise me about the pension transfer process – what were my options, and the rules and regulations involved in moving a pension from the UK to NZ. It is highly controlled process, and it was great talking to someone so knowledgeable of both the UK and NZ regulations. Tony explained everything simply so that I could understand the complex procedure and make an informed decision. As a result, I engaged GB Pensions to transfer three of my UK pensions. It is not a quick process and throughout I felt supported. Tony and Nicola kept me informed every step, responding swifty to my questions, often having to take the time to re-explain, without ever making me feel stupid or a nuisance. When there was an issue with one of my UK pension providers making mistakes within their organisation, Tony chased and achieved a positive resolution. I would happily recommend others like me who have moved from the UK, and are looking to transfer their pensions to NZ to use GB Pensions.    Transferring pensions over from the UK is a complex and long process, not something you can do yourself and you need a company that is professional and diligent. GB Pensions were fantastic, Tony took the time to answer my many questions and gave me all the information I needed to understand what was needed. My Railways pension required a lot of extra work and an actual ream of paper in forms, plus Tony had to call them several times due to paperwork mix ups on their part.
