The worst. Waited 15 mins and called again. Message said still finding a car! Canceled as who knows how much longer to wait? Where is Uber?
Top Service, having been a transport operator myself I had high expectations and they were more than met. Got to know many of the drivers over the 3.5 months of use (due to an ankle injury). Generally always on time, respectful and helpful and caring. I will really miss my commutes to work and various appointments and all the better for the experience. Thank you for your service, your care and sage advice it was hugely appreciated and will be missed.
1 Star Absolutely disgraceful excuse for a taxi service. The driver saw us walking toward the car — we made eye contact — and still had the audacity to just drive off like we didn’t exist. No call, no message, no ounce of basic human decency. Just vanished. What kind of useless operation runs like this? This wasn’t a minor screw-up — it was pure incompetence and disrespect. If this company put any less effort into customer service, they’d be in reverse. Avoid them like the plague. I wouldn’t trust them to deliver a pizza, let alone drive a human being anywhere.
Friday 9 May 2025. A cold miserable day with rain on its way. Today I met a lovely senior lady in a wheelchair waiting outside the Coasta Medical centre for the Taxi which she had booked for an 0830 pick up w Waik to Coastal Medical centre return fare. Her Dr's appt was 0900. The male driver finally got her to her destination at 0910. No apoloy for being late. When I arrived she was waiting in her wheelchair outside. Another lady was making enquiries at Receptionist counter to check with Taxi service wherein they (Taxi) wanted to know if she was a on the "Total disability scheme" She made the comment that she would not be a priority because she's not a full fare paying customer. We asked if she wanted to wait inside, she replied she would wait a few more minutes then she would go inside. Yes this is review long winded. DO BETTER PARAPARUMU TAXIS. DO BETTER FOR OUR SENIOR CITIZENS.
We used your service on a Sunday afternoon earlier this month after a car breakdown and the service was prompt, friendly, helpful and completely stress free, which is good when your host's car is being towed off. I then manged to leave my wallet in the back of the taxi. Not a great idea but you quickly, efficiently and with a friendly smile put us back together. Many thanks to the office team and the driver for making this happen Many thanks. It's only 5 stars because I can't give any more.
Had a great driver Mr John today. Verry polite & attentive. Only reason not 5* was rude abrupt driver day before. Pulling up 7min before our agrreed 5.30pm pickup time (pizza due 5.25 so left 5 min leeway our end), not taking a park, blocking traffic, telling us 'hurry up', which threw my teen with disability still picking up our order inside & rushed. Need more Johns & less abrasiveness from drivers. Its why some get a cash tip & others dont. John was great. Get ya other drivers not to profile or be rude

I have a disability and phoned ahead that I have a dog. They said all good. A 2 minute drive. Driver picks me up and abused me and my dog even though she is sitting quietly on the back seat. Half way along he asks me to get out and walk. Said I'm blacklisted.
Really good little taxi service. We used them about 5 times over the course of our stay for long and short trips. The drivers where always polite and the taxi would arrive within good time after calling the phone line.
I WOULD PUT ZERO STARS IF I COULD as there wasn’t even a service to ‘review’. NEVER, book Paraparaumu taxis if you are wishing to get home safe in the evening. I have now PRE-booked taxis on two different Saturday evenings in the last 4 months with about 7 hours notice. Neither taxi showed up on these different occasions leaving me, a young female, alone on the street in the middle of the night with no way home. I was also hung up on when asking for the whereabouts of my taxi. Disgraceful, unreliable and unprofessional. Do better Paraparaumu taxis, way better.
