poor service do not recommend not even if last resort call an Uber when they arrived I had a suitcase I went to place it in the back seat and they said no place it in the boot I walked to the boot and it was locked I asked if they could unlock the boot and they stood their looked like they didn't know how and wouldn't open the boot I was in a stressful situation and in the pouring rain I needed to get in fast and get to my safe place they left me in the street and drove away . when I tried to order another one dispatch so unprofessional I proceeded to try to make a complaint and explain what the first taxi did the person behind the phone didn't believe me made fun of my crisis situation and said my phone number is blocked have a nice day in the end my sister came to my aid and ordered me an Uber which arrived fast in ten minutes wonderful service and I got to my safe place safely

I ordered two taxis two hours in advance to arrive at the same time to take two families to an event. One taxi arrived and the second taxi hadn’t even accepted the job yet when we enquired when it would be arriving. So although it was ordered no one came. I asked the operator when booking if I could rely on the service, could I trust they will turn up on time and they said yes. Well one didn’t turn up at all. They have poor ratings and reviews for a reason and I chose to ignore them on this occasion. Don’t make the same mistake - Avoid.

Booked a taxi for 5:55 pm at Paremata train station, no taxi by 6:35 pm, called them twice to speak with them in person and they could give no indication of when a taxi would be here. Apparently only 2 drivers in for this peak period. Useless. No customer orientation. Don’t use!! The automatic system says a taxi will be there shortly - don’t believe it, it’s just a recording. Absolutely hopeless service.

Shocking - confirmed online booking with a booking number issued for a 3.45am collection. No taxi arrived. Upon ringing I was told that no driver had been allocated but there was a driver in Wgtn. Way too late for my airport check-in so I had to borrow a car to get there and leave it at the airport for someone to collect when they woke up. I have written but no response. Totally hopeless and cannot recommend if you have a time-critical collection.

Complete joke. Booked a pickup for the airport, called the night prior to confirm that the booking will be filled (it was confirmed). Time comes and no cab shows up. I call the company and was firstly told - “no driver available”, then changed to “driver is on the way but not online” and “no way for us to contact the driver”, and “nothing we can do about it”. I told the lady dispatcher this was incredibly poor form, that I have a plane to catch and that this leaves me in a terrible position. She says its not her problem, accuses me of being rude and hangs up the phone. This company is a complete joke. Avoid avoid avoid.

Awful service. I ordered a taxi at 10.20pm to pick me up from a train station at 10.40pm. At 10.45pm (having arrived 5 mins earlier) I phoned to ask where my taxi was and was told it was a few mins later. At 10.58pm (and being freezing cold) the taxi hadn't arrived so I phoned to see where the taxi was - to be told it was a very long way away. When I queried how long I was going to be waiting I was told "I don't know" and that there were only two cars on duty so I would have to wait. When I tried complaining I was told that the person on the phone was simply a "call centre person" and that I'd have to talk to someone else to complain. Incredibly flippant and uncaring or uninterested attitude. Seriously - if you don't have enough cars on, don't take the bookings. End of. I could have ordered a taxi through someone else rather than waiting 30 mins I'm the cold. Do not use.

The service was shocking. The lady operator was very rude and screamed at my colleague over the phone for no reason. We use porirua taxis all the time for our elderly customers and this was by far the worst experience ever. A lovely elderly woman needed a taxi for transport and we called for one but because she was waiting for over 45 minutes we decided to call and get an update on how long it will take for a taxi. My colleague didn’t even get a word in before she was screamed at. This is horrible customer service and no one should be treated like this. I work in retail and know how important it is for great customer service and I’m disgusted at this lady operator. If you don’t like your job then find another one. Thankfully Wellington Taxis pulled through for our customer and came within 10-15 minutes of being called. From now on we will be using Wellington Combined Taxis as our experience with your company was horrible.
