I visited the insurance broker we had been with for many years. After completing the necessary forms I asked if he was the person I should contact on the off chance there were any problems. He wiped his hands together and said ‘my job is done, any problems contact head office’.
Terrible claim experience! AIA keeps delaying the process, constantly asking for more documents even after everything has been provided. It’s clear they have no intention of approving claims—they just keep finding excuses to stall. My claim has been dragged on for over three months with no real progress, and every time I contact customer service, I get vague and unhelpful responses. This company is all about avoiding payouts. Absolutely disappointing—would not recommend at all!

Great company I submitted a claim and got paid out $15,000 for breaking my finger within a week highly recommend.
Wasn’t able to get life insurance because i had been to seek help for my depression (would’ve thought getting help was a good thing). Answered all questions honestly as requested, wanted to sign up to the vitality programme to improve my health and well-being, to then be told I’m not healthy enough for that. It’s extremely frustrating, demotivating, and being told you’re not worth it, certainly doesn’t help with mental health.
Very disappointing. Easy to pay hard to claim. After more than 8 years of being a paying client, I expected more.
