   DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!! Poor service, system doesn't understand the difference between a debit and credit card it would appear. Have gotten my automated payments messed up so many times that I have lost faith in the company and make manual payments. Do NOT use this company. I have been in the automotive world for the past 10+ years, and there are much better options out there who actually care about their customers and value their time. Any customer ready this, please DO NOT use this company

   Do not go with this company worst experience ive ever had in the middle of my loan they changed my payment date ended up faulting on a few payments in owing them more money and they fully change the payment date without me knowing. Very poor customer service. Off the paying my loan off completely they said they would be closing my account which they never did and then charged me more interest on top. Broke agreements made over the phone. And they are currently being sued in court for breach of contracts do not go with this company - 5 starts

   i am a Go Car Finance customer and became a customer from 19th of july 2021 and still currently, with a high-interest loan 29.95% with additional insurance add-ons I didn’t fully understand at this time. my car loan $13995, all up i am paying back is 36,603 due to fees. over the years i think i have paid 30,723$$ if my calculations is right.    I was a Go Car Finance customer from 2022 to 2025. I entered into a high-interest loan with additional insurance add-ons I didn’t fully understand at the time. Over the course of my loan, I paid over $13,500 but still had over $16,000 owing due to fees and interest even after hardship periods where I was unwell and unemployed. Despite applying for a health waiver and hardship help multiple times, I was charged missed payment fees while waiting for approvals. I asked for fee reviews, insurance breakdowns, and clarification on restructuring calculations most of which were either delayed, ignored, or dismissed. In June 2025, I sent a detailed complaint asking for a proper breakdown and review. Instead of a clear reply, I was pushed toward signing a resolution agreement that cleared the debt but shut down my complaint. I later tried to pursue the matter through FSCL, but was told that because I had signed, they might not continue the investigation. I now feel pressured, silenced, and disappointed by how my complaint was handled. I was just trying to exercise my rights and ask fair questions. What was meant to bring me peace of mind left me more stressed and defeated. I’m posting this so that others — especially those experiencing financial hardship — know to ask questions, read every clause, and document everything. I hope Go Car improves how they treat vulnerable customers moving forward. No one deserves to feel dismissed for seeking help.

   Please do not use this company I wanted a $6-7 K loan car and I was bullied into getting a $10k car that turned into a $18/19k loan over the 3 years. I have almost paid it off but it would have been better to save for 3-5 months rather then to get financed with this company. Please do yourself a favour and think about the interest and packages before you sign up. You won't be tied into the scam of this deal. My car was a complete lemon as well constant problems since I've had it. Yes there's nothing they can do to help you.

   If your getting finance -, Make sure all the optional waivers are removed - Do not sign any contract until you have read all the pages! MORP also has a annual fee..it is NOT $8 A week. The GPS device is NOT for safety or OF your car is stolen they will not deactivate your car if it's been stolen! PUT ALL COMPLAINTS through and then lodge with Commerce Commissioner with the open current investigation!!! GET THIS FINACE COMPANY HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR BEING IRRESPONSIBLE AND DOUBLE DIPPING IN PLAIN SIGHT!!

   DO NOT RECOMMEND ESPECIALLY FOR FIRST TIME BUYERS OR LOW INCOME BUYERS Go car finance does not care about your income and how over paying for a used vehicle will affect your future financial life. I purchased a vehicle via finance with this company which okayed a purchase for an illegally modified vehicle which I was unable to get a wof for. They did not tell me about hidden costs attached to the finance “contract”. I received $18000 of help from work an income for a $11000 car which included DONT WORK WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS!!!!! payments of up to $600 to get my starter chip turned back on to use my car after missing one payment (I paid within 3 days of missing that payment and called straight away yet it took weeks of me calling them to turn my car back on) These people are predators for the low income community and will make you feel like they care and want to help but they are selfish and just want your money. After making formal complaints my debt was cleared and I was refunded the extra money I was paid because I have the best budgetor in nz!

   Rubbish paid off a previous car loan not one missed payment, tried to get another car end up spending hours on hold for 10 second conversations that don't help at all. Apparently after paying off a 15k loan with out one missed payment I can not afford another lol do not recommend

   Do not recommend this finance company, it is quite sad as they target and approve low-income households and people on benefits that know are desperate to get a car and will accept their interest rates of over 25+% because obviously they are in need of a car! Should there ever be an issue with having to lower your repayments you can do so but it’s not as straight forward as other finance companies, with these guys, you need a budget sheet from a registered financial advisor and the lowered re-payments are only temporary, if you’re wanting to apply again, you can, but not for the same grounds as the application prior. Absolutely no way to liaise with them if your car were to be turned off- if it does you get 6 emergency starts per year, there’s nothing AT ALL in their power they can do to not turn your car off even though this is manually enabled by them! Staff are very passive aggressive to speak to and I felt very belittled by them. Staff definitely need to work on empathy but of course with this being a finance company they only care about the money. Also, highly advise to have a solicitor look into your repayments, if you have the app and go through your repayments theres random late fees of $10 applied when i don’t understand how as I make repayments a day earlier than my agreed day. Seriously can not wait to finish my loan with this company, just a huge nightmare to deal with
