My first visit after 70 year olds are no longer funded and it was well worth the cost. The staff were lovely and the 3D new machine was amazing. It was great to have the consultation with Dr Monica straight after and view your own images and have them explained. No waiting for a few days to hear the results. Will definitely be returning again.
Strongly recommended. I had a really wonderful experience today. The staff are super warm and professional. The environment is cozy. It was great meeting Dr. Monica. She did the ultrasound very carefully and answered my questions very patiently, clearly and professionally. She communicated directly with me about what she found, which really eased my anxiety. I truly appreciate that. I’ll definitely recommend my friends to use this service.
I recently had an ultrasound and mammogram, and I am incredibly impressed with the level of service I received. After seeing my GP on Monday, and was able to be seen by Wednesday. The entire process was fast, efficient, and handled with the utmost professionalism. The staff were not only experts in their field but also made me feel comfortable and well-cared for throughout my visit. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with kindness and respect, and the procedures were carried out with precision and expertise. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of these services. Excellent job to the entire team! PS I like the white containers for the clothing all fits neat and tidy
Cozy and decor of the rooms are in excellent taste, calming for nervous clients. From reception to the technician and doctor, all were very professional, straightforward, and knowledgeable. They explained the procedures as best the could and guided the exam , explaining what is happening step by step. I highly recommend the institute. Thank you for your service.
Seeing as it was first Mammogram I didn’t really know what to expect. The staff were welcoming and friendly as soon as I walked in the door. Lisa was wonderful, with a knowledgeable and caring approach that made me feel at ease. An excellent service, thank you Lisa and Kathy.
I wish I could rate higher. Amazing experience, caring and dedicated staff. I felt at ease and like I mattered. Dr Monica was wondeful. She made sure I understood my results and the importance of regular checkups. Lisa was caring and careful and made me feel at ease the whole time I was being scanned. I felt welcome from the moment I walked through the door until I left. I would highly recommend.
I have just had a mammogram at the Breast Institute this morning. The staff were all so amazing and welcoming, I always get really stressed before my mammograms and I felt so well looked after and it was so reassuring to talk to the Doctor afterwards and find that all was okay. I thoroughly recommend the Breast Institute.
THEY CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH LESS THAN 24HS NOTICE. I booked my ultrasound 1 month ahead. Because I can’t drive, I live in wellington, and I asked a friend to give me a ride to there. I booked for 16:30, because it was the only time my friend could leave the job to drive me there. I had to arrange many things, one month in advance to do it. So today, less than 24hs before my appointment, they just cancelled my ultrasound, because the doctor has a personal appointment to do SO UNPROFESSIONAL. She decided to cancel my appointment to enjoy her afternoon doing something else. Also this company discounted $300.00 from my Southern Cross insurance, 1 month ago, when I didn’t even had my consultation. Because YES they care about money. Disrespectful. If i cancel with less than 24hs notice they would charge me full exam, but they do it without any consequences. I think when a doctor like that, just cancel an appointment, one day before, without a enough notice, they just don’t care about the person behind it. This doctor probably thinks she is a God, her personal life is above everything, so she doesn’t care if doing that is going to mess my life. Never more I will have any medical exam with this company, they don’t respect their customers. It is terrible service. AVOID THIS COMPANY. I want my insurance money back.
Who would have thought going for a breast check would be classified as a wonderful experience?! But I can honestly say this was a really enjoyable highlight in my week. From talking to the lovely Brooke yesterday who was able to get super quick Southern Cross approval - to going to appointment this morning. Everything was so easy with directions, parking, beautiful spa-like interiors and every member of the team I met being divine. I can thoroughly recommend and will definitely be coming back here for any future checks or mammograms! Thanks so much Breast Institute!
I am split in two. This is a place you want to keep a secret, so you can always get an appointment, but it is SO good, that you feel you need to share it with others! I needed an urgent scan. The kind voice on the phone was so nice. I sent through my referral, and once they received it, I got a call back immediately, and got booked in for the afternoon. The surroundings there is so nice and welcoming and calming and warm. Afterwards when I walked out, the memory remains of the surroundings and it is like the procedures phased to the background. The clinicians are amazing. And it is the first time I understand my breasts. The provide clear information, and you know where you stand. The equipment is top of the range, and for women at my age (50!), it is definitely worth it to go to this Institute. I hope more of these pop-up.
