The Spanish Institute provided me with great resources and methods to improve my Spanish. The classes are enjoyable and interactive which only enhances the experience. My teacher Amelia was friendly and always helpful so thank you to the Spanish Institute team!
I was really disappointed with this experience. The administration was bad, with no communication about classes that fell on public holidays and a very belated email update when we went from online to in person classes which meant noone knew to turn up in person. The teacher was kind and helpful but I feel he was hampered by how he had been told to teach - he basically just read the text book to us and told us what words meant. Not my idea of how to learn basic language skills. Wouldn't recommend.
I had a wonderful experience learning basic Spanish after work one night per week. The resources were appropriate, the length of time was suitable, the location in Mount Victoria was central and our Colombian teacher was excellent. Definitely recommend as a good beginners experience.
Totally recommend taking classes here. The instructors are great, and you get the chance to really develop your Spanish.
