    Had the worst experience in my life. Manager in Queensgate insulted me in-front of the staff members. Told her off as she was taking her frustration on me as I had knots on my her. She was not the one who was doing my hair. Hairdresser who was serving me there she even admitted that the manager usually mistreat people. She even said it’s normal to knots on hair it can be combed off, it’s not a bigger deal. I have been going to this place as I had a relationship with one of the hairdresser. On 23rd November she was not there so someone else served me. She had no problems with hair being knitted on the back but manager and her other staff misbehaved with me. I told her off as she was being extremely rude and for her misbehaving with me. She said she will can refuse my service and she will call the security guard. Hairdresser already started applying colour on my hair. I have never been humiliated in my life. I am quite traumatised by her shocking behaviour. I would like some kind of apology for her misbehaviour. Also would like a compensation. On the 19th December when I got someone to check to see my usual hairdresser can do my hair. Manager again came in interrupted saying that we are no longer going to serve for your hair. I have said to her that I need to talk to the owner directly she said she can’t give me his number but gave me an email address which seems like her email address. My suggestion to anyone do not ever go this place. They might be a little cheap but service is horrible. Manager do not treat clients with respect and staff too. I believe the owner need to check on his manager and see the reviews on the site. This kind of manager should be given a management position who does not even know how to behave with customer. This manager in Queensgate seems like a very controlling woman and staff members are so scared of her.

    Absolutely HORRIBLE , i asked for curtain bangs to my chin and 90s layers and I got random bits of hair gone and curtain bangs to my nose DO NOT COME HERE FOR YOUR HAIR!

    Absolutely rubbish taking advantage of a Down syndrome lady and charging $280 for the rubbish that you call full headed foils that looked like a line of dye on her hair. You should feel ashamed of yourself and I hope you feel some sort of guilt and hurt that makes you not sleep well at night. You horrible human being. This place needs to be shut down!

    Absolutely horrible service and prices, if you want colour do not and I repeat do not go here. Then when asked about the state of my hair and the price they lied, came up with excuses and then basically said oh well don’t come back. Trust me a wont

    Absolutely shocking. If I could give this place no stars I would. You should all be ashamed of yourselves taking advantage of my friend’s auntie who has Down syndrome. Charging her $280 for what? You couldn’t even prove what she was paying for. Karma’s coming for you.

    I went in to get my split ends cut (my hair is quite long to begin with) and my hairdresser β€˜accidentally’ snipped against my head. I am now bald and severely depressed. It is winter and my head is so cold, I wish I could rate 0 stars

    Terrible Business. DO NOT GO HERE. Took advantage of a down syndrome lady by charging her $280 for a cut and color. Her hair is super short and thin, Her hair doesn't even touch her shoulders. The color job was done terribly. Just atrocious. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS

    I am sorry Hair Beauty Nails, I didn't want it to come to this. Unfortunately I am writing up about the service I got from the manager of the Palmerston North salon. I went in for a quote the day before getting my hair done by one of the ladies who has worked on my hair before. $150 to $180 to get what I wanted done, which is a reasonable price. The day of the appointment, the manager said the price was wrong and after asking about my budget, which by the way, who asks the client about the budget when they have already been quoted and have stated they have been quoted. Anyways, she was gonna charge me $190 but changed it to $200.... So $200 for an outcome I am very unhappy with... Why? First of all, she did not listen to what I had wanted, I said I wanted my end of hair blonde, well from below the ear down. She did not listen to that and went well past my ear. My mother and I went back and complained and she totally lied to my mum and said how we spoke about going a certain blonde when we didn't. The managers attitude was poor, was not how you should be talking to a client or treating a client at all. Just seemed like she did not care for the business at all. The Manager had also said that they charge extra if clients want their hair blow dried but not until she finished blow drying my hair... But wait there's more... The manager has also ruined an $80 merch hoody that I have because she doesn't know to use a towel under the apron but also did not put the apron on properly. (Photos of hoodie down below.) I messaged the Facebook page and told them about it, they said they would get back to me, that was the 23rd September, I have proceeded to message in the time asking what is happening with the complaint I would like to make and have yet to hear back. To me, this is very upsetting and unprofessional. I have never had an issue with hairdressers before and for the Manager of all people to ruin a merch hoody is very disappointing. So Hair Beauty Nails, If you would like to get back to me about a solution to solve this issue, Ive left you messages.

    I have been a customer of this place for almost 2 years and spend approx $150 there every month. There are some good things: the beauty lady is quite friendly, the lady who cut my kids hair seemed to care and did a good job. BUT (this you need to know) The manager lady is incredibly rude. A few weeks ago I asked for a fringe trim to which she signed (like fixing my hair was a pain)and said she wanted to get a coffee so I'd have to wait half an hour. Last week I went in and they'd been cleaning with toxic stuff and to come back in an hour. Another time they wouldn't let my son wait. And this morning I forgot my phone so I asked if my husband could text her my vaccine pass so she could scan it and she said 'no' very rudely then ranted on about Jacinda and chased me out of the shop. They know I have a vaccine pass and I offered to have my husband text it to them so they could scan it. It just seemed weird that they wouldn't help me since I've been such a good customer for so long. And even if she refused to help there was no need to start shouting and ranting on about Jacinda! It made me very uncomfortable and angry and I will never go back to this shop. This lady does not deserve loyal customers!!!
