   I really appreciate the kindness I receive from all the staff at Mairangi Medical Centre. Every visit has been filled with genuine care and comfort, even when I’m dealing with something personally distressing. I’ve been seen by several different doctors here, and I can confidently say I’ve always been given thoughtful, thorough, and professional medical care. The team listens, makes me feel safe, and never rushes me. Thank you to everyone at MMC for consistently providing such a supportive environment, it truly makes a difference.

   I dread coming here. The receptionists are rude and unwelcoming (except the younger ones) On my last visit, the older receptionist met me with a hostile glare, which I assume was because I owe money. This kind of hostile atmosphere is unacceptable and makes already anxious patients, like myself, incredibly uncomfortable. I have also had zero resolution for my ongoing ailments. Each time I see a doctor, the result is the same: I am told I need to book and pay for yet another appointment for further exams. I get charged repeatedly, yet all I ever walk away with is a prescription for pain relief and nothing that actually fixes the underlying problem. I suffer from depression and the anxiety of having to come back into this environment, knowing my problems won't be resolved but I will be charged again, is overwhelming. To add to this, the $30 charge for a repeat prescription for long-term maintenance medication is ridiculous and just feels like another way to milk patients.

   I would give a zero stars if I could. I recently tried to switch to another clinic, and I still had one appointment booked here. It got cancelled right around the time I moved out, which it’s understandable. But there was absolutely NO TEXT OR EMAILING ABOUT THR CANCELLATION, instead, I STILL RECEIVED A TEXT AND AN EMAIL TELL ME TO COME IN!! What a complete waste of time! Some of the doctors here are also very disappointing. One doctor prescribed me long-term antibiotics even though my lab results weren’t bacterial positive, and it turned out the issue was completely unrelated.

   This is a brilliant medical practice. My doctor is Dr Asima and I cannot praise her highly enough. She’s so thorough and actually cares about her patients. I have also seen other doctors in this practice and they are all fantastic.

   Been coming here for a long time, honestly the doctors here are pathetic in general. Cannot give proper advice or solutions. They make you come back for more exams since they can’t figure out anything on your first visit is a norm. $71 for a session and they expect you to come back to pay more so they can do more exams and they probably never find the right solution. Extra exams should be cost free regardless. I also had problems with my ear but they could not find solution for 2years. Doctors in Korea fixed it in 10min. Disappointing

   I usually have really good service from the doctors at the practise but not today, Dr Maisoon did not take me seriously at all, i am 19 weeks pregnant with extreme chest pain to the point where i couldnt even drive and she was telling me theres no point to go hospital and the hospital wouldnt admit me if i went in.. didnt even bother to consider how i was feeling and how intense my pain was & the fact that i was pregnant and felt like fainting.

   My family & I recently moved to this practiced based on a recommendation from friends. All the staff are so friendly and you can usually get a booking on the day. Couldn’t recommend Dr. Georgia enough. She truely cares about your well being and is super thorough. I’m so glad our family made the move.

   These guys are amazing. Recently shifted from an Albany practice and the difference is chalk and cheese. The rest of the family is jealous and is now looking to move as well. I can access records and book easily online. The follow up is always on point and I feel like a patient here rather than a customer. Recently had Covid and the level of service care was incredible. Highly recommended.

   Absolutely wonderful practice! Been going here for many years and have always had great service for myself and my children from birth. Friendly staff and doctors and great online booking system. There always seems to be a Dr for a specific need otherwise my normal GP always seems to have an appointment within a couple of days. Highly recommend this practice.
