   I had the most wonderful experience at Auckland Gynaecology through Dr. Guy. I was initially really nervous about visiting a gynaecologist as I'm young and was expecting to be dismissed. However, Dr. Guy was super compassionate and understanding and listened to all of my symptoms and was super proactive in getting me to an ultrasound. Even though the ultrasound didn't show anything alarming, Dr. Guy still recommended surgery. The surgery was scheduled three weeks later and the whole surgical process was super quick, easy, and comfortable. The nurses were all super amazing. The whole process was friendly and kind. I had the most amazing nurse, Isabel, after I woke up in recovery. She was super good at explaining everything and was kind, compassionate, and everything that you want after a surgery. This was overall an amazing experience. Could not recommend Dr. Guy, the clinic, and his team enough!

   I was seen by Dr Gudex back in 2015 then again in 2017/2018. Absolute champ. 5 stars for his professional service. Fast forward to 2025 referral. Could only get appointments with a Dr who is at the clinic once a month. For very clear reasons directly related to my appointment, had to cancel 3 appointments, one a month and decline one which coincided with me being out of town. That's over a 4 month period. Clinical director, Dr Gupta states 3 cancellations with valid reasons is unacceptable so they won't offer further bookings despite me requesting a Dr with different schedule.You would think a gynae clinic understands that a monthly appointment schedule may not work with every woman's body calendar. Shocked and disappointed at the setback to start referral process again.

   Dr Praveen de Silva is kind, compassionate, very professional and understands the needs of his client. He's not an 'arrogant surgeon' and is one of the nicest surgeons I've met. Fran and Louise on the desk are lovely to deal with and all are very accommodating to anxiety issues and go the extra mile for you. I would recommend Dr de Silva to anyone with endo he is the best. I would give 10 stars if possible! Thank you for everything AGG.

   Extremely negative experience. No awareness of modern approach to managing peri-menopause, basically denied it even exists. Doctor was completely dismissive of my (many!) symptoms, and insisted on prescribing anti-depression medication and an extra birth control pill (on top of what I already have!) rather than address the underlying imbalances and issues that I explained. And even then, she insisted the prescription was for "anti-anxiety" medication, but when I got home and Googled it - I realised it's Prozac! Feels irresponsible and out of date. Clearly this doctor has not kept up with her research. Avoid this clinic.

   I have recently had major surgery performed by Dr Praveen De Silva who I cant speak highly enough of. My case was quite complicated and unfortunately I ended up having a couple of Middlemore stays after surgery. Despite being in the public sector at this stage Praveen stayed in constant contact with me, came in to Middlemore Hospital regularly to check on my progress and followed up with the medical team there to ensure I received the best possible care. Praveen has the most beautiful caring bedside manner too and goes over and above. I cant praise this man enough. Highly recommended.

   I had a procedure done here during level 3 lockdown. I can't speak highly enough of Dr Gudex and his team. I was well informed before the procedure about what to expect, Covid protocol, parking etc - basically everything I needed to know. When I arrived on the day, I was welcomed by warm and friendly nurses and support staff. My procedure was done on time and a follow up appointment was booked. They also provided the best range of post surgery snacks I've ever had!! Thanks team.

   Was very happy that I got an appointment with them within a week of contacting them. The procedure with them went well however, I was not given enough information about my results. I asked if I could be given more information and felt like the doctor was irritated about being phoned about the results. Due to the change of severity I was needing another procedure and again was ill informed, I only knew the full extent on the day of the procedure at the public hospital.
