The shop is well stocked, and easy to get a park. The staff are a bit standoffish. The lady that served me at the counter appeared quite robotic lol
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Service from Vilekhaki at Kilbirnie Chemist Warehouse I had such a great experience with Vilekhaki today. She went above and beyond to help me, staying completely unbothered and genuinely happy to assist. The item I needed wasn’t on the shelf, so she grabbed a ladder and searched through the boxes until she found it. I’ve never had customer service like that before, and I’m really grateful. She left me feeling super satisfied with my visit, thank you, Vilekhaki!
I visited Chemist Warehouse to buy some basic medicines and multivitamins, and I was amazed by how huge the store was. With so many aisles dedicated to different body parts and different types of medications, it felt a little overwhelming at first. But the moment I asked for help, one of the staff members guided me with complete patience and professionalism. He explained how to read the product sections clearly and even walked with me to find every item I needed. His assistance made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The staff here are extremely polite, knowledgeable, and willing to help without hesitation. Overall, a fantastic experience.
Great chemist and very kind employees/workers, however I dont understand the need for the security gaurd to be following me in every aisle I go in (very off putting and uncomfortable). I didnt think of it as a racial profiling situation until I noticed his obvious following right behind my neck after every product I touched or even looked at EVERY time I go. Confirmed my suspicions after he asked me to check my handbag twice inside the store and once outside even after he watched me pay for my products (i was also the only one he asked considering the store was busy). Forgot to mention the random deathstares he gives me and a few other 'coloured' customers. Cool store though
Service can be a bit hit and miss sometimes, the new perfime/ make up area is amazing lots of choices. The biggest issue is the security guard, an older , tall man he is intimidating and can make a person feel very uncomfortable with his over the top behavior.
They make you feel like a drug seeker ordering and collecting prescribed, monthly medication. On top of that, every time (no matter how much notice you've given- you have to wait 15 minutes)! Will be swapping back to old pharmacy very soon.
This is the 3rd time I have had to wait for nearly 15 minutes for someone to come and serve me. Sunday nights there are never any staff to be found, shop is literally empty (minus the security guard who actually had to try and help me find someone so I could purchase items) and during the day it seems the pharmacist hides so he doesn't have to serve any customers. Tried to pick up a prescription, waited for the staff member to finish dealing with a customer. Then she walked away. I asked if I could get my prescription, she said I have to wait for pharmacist, she can't help me. I asked where he was, she didnt know. Then suddenly he appeared from behind the counter, where I had been waiting for 15 minutes. He was there the whole time, watching myself and other customers wait and wait and wait and wait. Shop was a mess too. Rubbish all over the floor and shelves mostly empty.
I was exposed to the Chemist Warehouse many years ago in Australia. What a wonderful place to shop with fantastic discounted products with great service. I used to wish they opened in NZ. My wish came true.. However the NZ branches appear to treat every customer as a potential thief . How about treating customers as that.. Customers who will return and spend money in your shop.
While I was looking around for the manager in the aisles, I bang my head very hard against the steel post just by the counter. I feel that it not safe and must be removed or close it with something else to avoid accidents. I am very annoyed about this. I gave my contact details. Let’s see what they have to say. It’s a big failure for the pharmacy not to think about health & safety of customers. I still have a massive headache after I came home. Harish
amazing service. the pharmacy team goes always and extra mild to provide best service! they never do recommendations just for the sake of upsaling but always having your wellbeing in consideration .
