   I have never had as many issues with a pharmacy as I have with this one over the years. From being essentially blamed for a medication shortage to them saying they don't have my script several times when it was there the whole time. The latest for me was regarding the rubifen shortage. At no point did your staff indicate that I needed to see my doctor again so that I can get the meds when they are available. I waited. Until I called today, and was told that my script essentially didn't exist anymore because they couldn't dispense my first one. I've never had as much frustration at a pharmacy and its systems before. I only go here when I can't afford to pay at my local pharmacy so I don't really have a choice but to CONSISTENTLY put up with it. UPDATE: The pharmacy just called me and spoke to me about my latest issue and this review (asking me to remove it). I believe it is still fair to leave the review up since I have had these same issues for years now, but I have to add that the call just now did clear up a lot of my questions. It's just a shame it took a scathing review, and a lot of emotional labour over the years on my part.

   You really need to teach your staff to be more polite and more professional, when they are supposed to be serving customers, to stop talking amongst themselves and maybe try and be a lot more friendly towards customers. 100% will definitely not be shopping here again.

   There is one assistant there who argues with you, pretends she's qualified to say no to repeats and yells when she cant get your name correct. Like every interaction...... can't believe she us still employed! The other girl is awesome as is the friendly female pharmacist.

   Absolutely terrible service. I find the staff unkind and unempathetic, both with others and me. They don't call your name, make you wait for meds, serve others before you, don't ask if you've ever taken the meds before, don't give you a leaflet of the medication. I would never go back if I didn't need to.

   I’m really impressed with the service and convenience of Countdown Newtown Pharmacy. They always seem to be busy however at least you can pick up the odd item for tonight’s tea while you wait or sit in the customer chairs if you don’t need to. I also appreciate they don’t clip the ticket with faxed prescriptions like some pharmacies do. Good service too; while I was waiting for my script, the pharmacist took real care and attention with a customer who was getting medicine for his sick child even though they were busy. Great hours too, although I hope they get some downtime!

   Absolutely appalling service here. My husband's prescription was refused so we had to go to the late night pharmacy down the road. My husband is in a lot of pain and these idiots refused to fill the script. Much better service else where do not bother going here. The $2.50 prescriptions might be tempting but the service is disgusting. I have NEVER heard of a pharmacy refusing a prescription. This place is a joke. I hope they close down soon.
