   I recently had surgery and needed a script filling plus I was on crutches. I arrived at this chemist shop and was cheerfully greeted by a bubbly smiley lady who said the script hasn't arrived yet and showed me a seat and checked I was comfortable due to crutches. She was very attentive to other customers too and smiled and chatted with regulars... 1 lady customer whispered to her friend.. Oh she is a bit loud.... You know what I am a retail manager and you do a terrific job.. I love your energy so you go on and be loud girlfriend and spread your sparkles... I will definitely return to your busy little chemist

   As this is the only option in Tawa, I go there. There is one particular staff member who I dread being 'served' by. She has been mentioned numerous times in these comments and from what I can tell, really needs to find another career. Here's a couple of tips - maybe smile when the customer approaches you and apologize if there is going to be a wait longer than 10 minutes for their script - even though, yes I know, it's not 'your fault' that the wait is that long. But really, it's just Customer Service 101 isn't it? Apparently not..

   The receptionist is more concerned about me wearing clean boots into her store rather than helping out. When someone is sick and walking in to get help and the first words you hear are I hope your boots are clean really shows how much people in tawa are concerned for themselves only Chemist warehouse is definitely the best choice for all your pharmaceutical needs this side of the city Don't waste your time going to Simon's pharmacy

   Went to the till with items and stood there 5 minutes or so waiting to purchase them. Multiple employees pretended not to see me waiting, though they had, and didn't say a single word to me. 'We'll be with you in a moment' or the like would have been sufficient even for an extended wait. I put the items back and left without purchasing anything which seems to have been what they wanted.

   The pharmacists there are very helpful and friendly. Really helped me with minor issues my kids have had and when my son was prescribed an epi pen for the first time the pharmacist explained how to use it and took his time making sure I felt comfortable. Great place.

   Even the one star is too generous. The front facing blonde lady has been rude on both one-off occasions I've needed to get prescriptions from here. I'm choosing to travel out of Tawa to get my prescriptions from now on! Terrible terrible service and experience!

   Last year they substituted with a lower mg without notifying me as the higher mg is phased out (found out later as other pharmacy notified me). Letting me know ahead could have saved the concern. Another one this year took 12 days, was first told it may arrive in 4 days but I called on 11th day and they were just about to order it. If I hadn't called and told I already need it they would have forgotten for weeks!

   This must surely be the rudest shop in the Wellington region. I am a 75 year old man. I asked the blonde round lady if they had electric toothbrush heads. She pointed to a distant shelf. Then she yelled "Over there, over there!!!" I pointed out that the shelf she was pointing to was headed Medicated Skin Care and I didn't think teeth were skin. She made no reply. I got the product, paid for it and left never to return. The staff in this pharmacy make a big thing about how they get abused by customers. They should take a good hard look at themselves.
