   Karen has been incredibly supportive in helping me manage my elderly parent’s monthly prescriptions over the past 18 months. She has always checked and double-checked everything whenever the prescription has changed, ensuring there were no mistakes. Karen also suggested organising all the medication into a labelled blister pack, which has truly given my parent back their independence and peace of mind. I am very grateful for Karen’s care and dedication.

   Karen has been our family pharmacist for decades and has consistently been excellent, but recently managed to out-do even her stellar baseline. Whilst arranging for an elderly family member to transition into residential care we had some issues getting the correct scripting sorted. Karen went out of her way to make sure that we had the correct medications arranged on short notice, despite several frustrating complications getting the correct scripts from the medical centre. She made a complicated and stressful situation much better. She is excellent at having and advising about the right over the counter medications as well as sourcing anything she doesn't have in stock. I have consistently been impressed with how quickly she can source non-standard medications and supplements. Her staff are also friendly and knowledgeable, and if you have left getting a gift too late there are always great options here too. Overall, if there was a way to give more than 5 stars, I would as I cannot recommend this pharmacy highly enough.

   My elderly family member suddenly felt unwell, and we couldn’t get an appointment with a GP on short notice. We turned to Karen for help—she was incredibly helpful, gave us excellent professional medical advice, and even taught us how to ease the discomfort with home care before seeing the GP. I feel so lucky to have such a professional and kind-hearted pharmacy nearby!

   My family went in to ask about the possibility of a script from overseas being valid. They were shockingly met with a hostile, negative response. I'm not sure if they understand that most of us in Wellington have overseas friends and relatives that visit Their lack of respect or empathy for a mother of a sick child was chilling. I shall definitely not be returning here. There is no excuse and accordingly, their business will suffer - or maybe it is already, hence the attitude.

   I went in for emergency heart pills and the payment had been prearranged. The blonde woman refused to give me my VERY urgent prescription and had me wait over an hour while she 'sorted it out' then told me to "find someone with a car to drive me to a free chemist in town" (odd thing to say as I drove there) and again refused. I called my payment contact from the car in tears who took 5 mins and told me to go back in there. There were now two ladies there and the blonde one was now sugar sweet but told me that it was "an extra step for her to email the invoice for payment, a real pain", gave me the pills and delightfully told me that I was lucky that my next visit would be my sixth and my next prescription would be free. I would advise everyone to avoid as if your life depended on it, which mine did.

   Just visited today - a super convenient location with lots of parking. The store itself is very bright and attractive. There is a wide range of useful medical and non-medical items. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this pharmacy.

   What a brilliant little pharmacy! They have a great range of gifts and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I have been using this pharmacy for over ten years and have had nothing but good advice and wonderful service. Nothing seems too much trouble for them. Highly recommended.

   UPDATE august 2019. Well apparently google reviews do have impact. Since the below stated review my wife and I have had a lot better service here, definetly not enough for me to write about it negatively. I still take issue with the drug unable to be put into a blister pack because you (from the pharmaceutical society ) shouldn't touch it which to that I totally agree. ...so why not try gloves, tweezers? Way better at remembering who we are now so I'm upping the stars from one to three. Hopeless. Terrible. incompetent... And some other choice names i wont say are all ways to describe this pharmacy. Sadly even though it's the closest to use we can no longer use them due to its poor service.to explain.....we have been going to this pharmacy for over three years every month for a large prescription yet they still don't know who I am while continously either getting it wrong or its not ready. Now they say they can't fill the blister packs i need with all the pills as two of them shouldn't be touched....I asked surely you use gloves?.. no they use some tool...so you don't touch them?...well no but we might.... Oh and they had supplied incorrect size for one of the items that we had to point out to them and get replaced! This pharmacist is incompetent and quite likely going to if not already indanger someone's life if she continues to get things wrong. So recommendation?.......avoid it like the plague.
