   I live in Orewa and I choose to drive to silverdale over using the Orewa post office as I tend to have quite a few packages and the staff at my local office seem almost inconvenienced when they see me. Tracey never been anything but kind and professional, even when she’s busy. today I had six packages to send and without even asking the customers names on each of the tracking numbers, so I could let them know and not get confused. Little things like this are so appreciated, she’s so g great to deal with and always wishes you well, even when she’s flat out and the only working.

   I was "helped" Asked do I want to put it in a bag? Simply asked me to write address. They then charged me $22 After paying I saw that my item clearly would have fitted and been more secure in a xl bag labelled $17. I asked would it have fitted in a $17 bag replied "I cant really use this sticker again". Didnt offer to help me after that. The person intentionally over charged me.

   This post office is not at all reliable, my tracking for my package said it was at the post office but every single time I checked they said it wasn't there. I sent them two emails and they only replied after two days, instead of their '24 hour' response time. I waited FIVE MONTHS EXTRA to retrieve this package after I finally managed to somehow get it. The contents were worth over $200 and I am so angry with this service. My phone number and address and email were all on the package and they did not contact me AT ALL even after five months. They gave absolutely no reason to why this happened and I will be making a statement. I suggest you find somewhere else to post your things. I understand that not everyone has had this experience but this is mine after using them for a few years. Hopefully their staff and customer service will improve soon. Five entire months and they did not contact me. Shameful.

   My email from DHL Express clearly stated that they are open for parcel collections till 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays only to be greeted by a rude lady in the shop barely uttering anything besides "we are closed". What a joke....

   So rude. They are a NZ parcel drop off point, the only one, us rural businesses, can use without driving miles. Today, without any explanation or warning, refuse to take NZ courier parcels!@!@!

   A big thank you to the lovely lady who owns/runs the Post shop. She has been so calm, friendly and helpful. Esp during Covid times. She is so organised and takes all the stress out when I have a bunch of parcels to post. I drive further to go see her and give her my business. She is just wonderful as are the other staff. Thank you for being kind and customer focused. It is noticed.
