   Booked the appointment over a month in advance cause they didn’t have any earlier slots, okay One week before the appointment being told to go to a different location, okay One day before the appointment I call to confirm that I’m coming Take a half day off work to go to the appointment at the location far away from home and from work 8 minutes before the appointment, as I’m pulling up to the clinic, I get a call being told that the appointment is CANCELLED

   Updating my review 21/10/2024 This was the least traumatic/scary sexual health appointment I’ve ever had. My doctor was wonderful - patient, calm, respectful, profeesional, empathetic. She gave me control over every single aspect of this otherwise scary process. Big fan of this clinic and I will be back for other needs. Review from September 2024: I think SWA is a great place that does important work. I don't love that they reschedule my appointment without consulting me. I also don't love that they insisted they tried to contact me about my appointment change when I have no texts or emails to that effect or any missed calls from them. I had already taken off work for my original appointment, so this is frustrating and damaging.

   Frustrating trying to get through by phone, no one ever answers, and then automated says if you don't have time too wait on the line call us back later in the day, call you back later in the day too not answer! Sort this out seriously!

   Usually they are amazing BUT when you make an appt and work full time and you're broke coz it's christmas time and can't take time off work, and the only time you can come in is on your lunch break and no one tells you on the phone that family planning clinic Lower Hutt has moved to another location when you make the appt over the phone. I'm going up and down the elevator like an idiot looking for the place you've been going to for years wasting your lunch break and gas and missing your appt. Thanks FP Customer service!!
