This is a gem of a practice. Straightforward, professional, ethical, approachable, affordable and empathetic. I really appreciate Paul's expertise, especially for individuals, families and SMEs.
I worked with this business as a client some time ago to help with wills and POAs, and it was recommended to me via LawHawk. It was a good experience, and everything, like the written terms, was done by Lawhawk, so all they had to do was read it and sign itβsimple and good. I then wanted to put some houses into a trust. It became too complicated for them to proceed with the trust setup during the process. When I informed Paul that I had created a business for the trust, he claimed that he had never advised me to do so and asserted that our previous conversation had never occurred. As a result, I recommend avoiding any further work with this business. Paul, nearing retirement, seems disengaged from his role and is experiencing some memory issues. He also fails to take accurate minutes of client meetings. Since he didnβt remember our earlier conversation, avoiding this situation is best.
I've worked with Paul and his team now for many years and appreciate the upfront no BS approach. Paul knows how to communicate the legal intricacies in a way that I can understand and has always delivered a service about expectations.
