Would give minus stars if I could. DO NOT GO HERE! Complete cowboys (from the receptionist, to the nurse and the arrogant “Doctor”.) Don’t waste your time, go see any other skin clinic but Skin Institute.
I just started chemical peel with a light therapy in Skin institute and even after the first appointment I can see the improvement in my skin. I bought the products with suggestion and so far I am happy with the results. I will continue to get my treatment here as they have been honest and helpful with what I wanted to achieve. Thank you.
The team at Skin Institute Albany are so professional and I’ve had nothing but great experiences here! I’ve seen both Aimee and Dr Steph. They both are very thorough and explain your plan for your personal needs/skin. I can’t recommend them enough and will definitely be back!
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND I enquired about seeing someone for my acne last year and they quoted me for $250 for the initial consultation and $149 for appointments thereafter (with a doctor not a dermatologist). After my second visit they charged me $240. I understand that the prices of services have increased but I don’t think it’s fair to increase the price halfway through treatment. Especially with no warning or explanation. I asked why there was a price increase and they couldn’t give me a reason. They honoured the $149 the second time but said it will be $240 from now on. Getting through to them is also difficult. I’ve called them a few times with no answer. Once I went through to their call centre where the lady told me my app had been cancelled (I wasn’t informed of this) and that there wouldn’t be another app for a couple of months. The clinic got back to me and said there was so I’m not sure where the contact centre were getting their info from. Overall I’m not having a good experience with Skin Institute Albany and I wish I had gone somewhere else instead!
